Yes Warner Brothers kept trying to make the show cheap so the in car shots from outside were done in a stationary car with a moving background.

I can't be the only one that sees the stuntman in the Jeep standing up and thinking of how dangerous it looks...A bad turn and the Jeep rolls over on top of him!
