Live at Donnington concert was absolutely amazing with Slade on the drums.

Let there be rock Live at Donnington...Chris stamina, technique, power...not even death metal drummers can keep those 16th notes on the hi-hat with such perfection and power for so long...great fucking drummer, Cheers mate!!!

I saw AC/DC in 92 with Slade. Razors edge album, It was great. Im a harsh critic too but It was the best show I've ever seen. I've seen a lot of Legendary bands, AC/DC is the best. Hands down

I personally thank you. That aside, I know it's in print and I think a majority would agree that you are hands down the best drummer AC/DC ever had. I believe Brian Johnson even stated as much. I know it's a business and I don't know the deals made, but I feel you were likely screwed over. Phil Rudd may have sentimental value to the Young brothers. But if they prefer to go merely on sentiment, perhaps they'll bring back Bon and Malcolm. I know, that's ugly, but you get my point, I'm sure. Anyway, thanks for the personalized video.

I think Chris Slade is a great Drummer. I was fortunate to see him play with AC/DC in Denver before Brian Johnson was dismissed from the tour because of hearing issues. The funny thing is I was looking real forward to seeing him play even though Rudd is an awesome drummer who plays with incredible feel. But so does Slade. He's done a great job with AC/DC. Hats off to him. And I've known since the 80's he used to play for Tom Jones via a Modern Drummer interview article back in the day. Now if that ain't cool I don't know what is. You rock Chris Slade.

I got to see Chris Slade drumming for Gary Numan in New Orleans in 82. It was a cruise on the Riverboat President and one of the loudest shows Ive ever been to. Such a Night 🎭

I’d like to add to the comments speaking to the Donington performance with Chris. The drumming was classic AC DC rhythm, but the facial expressions are great. I’d love to know about the look he made, while watching Angus at stage left, during The Jack.

Whenever someone says AC/DC is just a rock and roll band and not heavy metal, I think of Chris Slade's genius use of two bass gong drums at head level.

Still prefer Phil for ACDC, still a monster on the drums and seems like a really humble man.

In my opinion, Chris Slade was AC/DC's best drummer they have ever had.

AC/DC aside it would be good to see The Firm again, even just to get Page onstage!

I don't know about his statement about "playing with more power than I have ever been in my life", I'm a Chris Slade fan but I'm still looking for that 'ol Chris in the 90's. I was really excited and happy when he returned but looking at his performance from the Rock or Bust tour it is different now and his performance in the AC/DC live in Donnington will always be my all time favorites.
