I saw another video today of a young lady in Judge Simpson's court who was responding that way. After the 8th time I was wondering why he didn't say anything about it. Some people these days just have no respect.

I was taught very young to say, Yes or Yes, sir, Yes, ma’am, etc when talking to adults. As an adult that carried thru to mean adults you respect like bosses, supervisors, drs, police, judges and so on.

My assumption is that he was using Creatine Supplements (Milkshakes/ similar) to increase his Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) thus theoretically, and all things being equal, reducing the number of days it takes for THC/ anything else to leave his system.

He could have had an enery drink or protein shake and his creatine levels would test positive.

There have been people who were overweight and heavy smokers who tested positive years later when they began to get fit.

It’s also hard for people bc it’s so romanticized by society probably pushed by big corporations. Most people who do weeds think it’s harmless and cool not an addictive thing like alcohol, yet they can’t quit to get jobs or stay out of prison.

6 years is amazing! Rooting for you. I teach public health and one of the courses is on drugs and it’s always satisfying when my students realize addiction does not necessarily mean a moral failing but a physical condition to overcome. At some point you have to take responsibility for your actions but recovery needs so much more support and understanding from society.

That kid is only 20 years old. I agree that you being clean for 6 years is amazing and should absolutely be celebrated! That kid on the other hand hasn’t been smoking for 20 years. It’s hard but the younger you are when you stop the better off you are all together. I’ve done nearly everything I can think of. Got hooked on heroin, cocaine, fentanyl, and at times booze. I’m clean off heroin and fentanyl for 8 months now. I’ve been on methadone for a few years already. It took me until I was nearly 50 to get my shit together. It’s tough and I wish you nothing but the very best. And I hope this kid stops lying to his mom. I was straight up with mine. She still loved me but she wasn’t happy with me. She passed in 2021. I wish I was all the way clean before she passed. I was only using a small amount of either heroin or fentanyl when she was passing away. Only $40 worth a month if that. But I still felt ashamed. I miss my mom every single day and I hope this guy doesn’t mess up like I did. At least he’s only on cannabis for now.

Yes. My son was diagnosed with BPD as well and the RX meds he was on were horrible on him. It was so bad he went unmedicated for awhile. Thankfully he never got into trouble. When medical marijuana became legal here he got approved and he has had MUCH better relief from his BPD now than he ever had with any RX

Why did you excuse your son’s drug abuse and behavior for 26 years? You’re saying it took doctors THAT LONG to diagnose him? That’s on you and not the doctors.

High creatinine levels could be he trying to flush his systems with a drink and even if she did watch him, (which a lot of UA places are in the room with you, they don’t watch ) she wouldn’t know because those at home test don’t detect that… another thing too could be kidney failure but if he had that, he won’t be standing there
