The chains and jewelry are actually part of a very interesting historical point. Pimps and rappers in the 90’s would wear all these chains and jewelry because if they were arrested the jewelry on your person goes into your intake items and could not be sold or seized since you’re supposed to leave prison with everything you arrive with. Essentially insurance so you have something to pawn when you get out. Loopholes 👏🏻
