Happy Thursday peeps!! Here is our latest dive and my GOODNESS WAS IT AN AMAZEBALLS ONE!!!! Yes I went out diving on my 41st birthday and we scored FULL CASES OF FOOD( NOT EXPIRED) , A TON OF CLOTHING AND SO MUCH MORE YOU GOTTA SEE IT TO BELIVE IT!

Happy Birthday! My husband and I went on our second time of dumpster diving last night and one of the first places we stopped at was a Dollar General and OH BOY did we find some goodies! I told my husband that whatever we don't want or our adult children can't use is getting donated. We had found dozens of eggs, cheeses( shredded, block and cream cheese), dum dum suckers batteries in a package a planner you name it. Then we went to a restaurant dumpster and they had thrown out some of their unused spices. So last night I say was better for us than the first time we went. Thank you for sharing with us your finds.🥰

Happy Birthday Shannon. You and Beth had a great haul. I can tell you from working retail for 33 years. We had to get stuff processed and out to the floor in like 4 hours. Plus ringing, customer service, cleaning, loss prevention, rewarps from customers opening packages, displays, signing of displays. Markdowns, go backs, recovery, breaks, covering other associates breaks, cleaning up broken merchandise on the floor. Setting our map for each week, putting up and taking down our own shelving and displays for the floor. Mark out of stocks. Which is probably some of what you find. All we see every day is merchandise. It just becomes stuff after awhile. We were so overwhelmed. Hours would get cut when you got a raise. But the same amount of stuff was expected of you. I understand your frustration from your point of view. And I really appreciate all you, Beth and Tara do!!! I have a new appreciation for dumpster divers. It sure looks like fun. Kudos to you!!!

Reminds me of the time we got a car FULL of every kind of cookie under the sun. Just like the universe decided to rain cookies. That's A we found that day. 63 bags of cookies. Of coarse we donated to our church, a food bank, another church and a little pantry. Plus still had plenty to give to family friends and neighbors. None were expired or recalled. I ate so may cookies myself I had to tell my husband t take them away. Death by cookie did not sound fun. But man they were delicious because I do not buy sweets . I just eat way too much sugar if it's in the house. This was a fun video.HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Shannon one of the reasons that you sometimes come across cases of unopened and not out of date is they get delivered too much stuff that they have not asked for and they are only allowed to take as much as they have requested and that truck drivers have to go pick up another load and simply just toss them in the The dumpster, sometimes the truckers take it home but some companies do not allow that and sometimes there is just too much for them to take home it is too costly for the truckers to return it. I was married to a driver and saw this frequently happened.
