Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. I went dumpster diving on Tuesday in Miami. I thought to myself after driving around for 2 hours and striking out, "man these you tubers are full of crap", till we found 7 boxes still closed full of brand new cell phone cases. And I'm here now saying that if you look hard enough you can and will find the goods. Keep posting your vids.

Circuit breakers and big motor starters all have rather large contacts which are solid silver, well worth taking apart. The silicone plugs are commonly used to plug off openings in parts to be powder coated (like threaded holes) to keep them clean. Silicone will survive the heat involved in baking the powder coat, then after the part cools, they are easily pulled out.

Pennsylvania Dutch eggnog is the best stuff, I get that every year around Christmas time. It don't need refrigeration. You don't know what your missing.

Me and my brother used to do skipping we made so much money from it it's amazing what people throw out we used to skip in London we found phones computers jewellery clothing ECT until the police stopped us and informed us it is illegal as it's theft by finding that didn't stop us though lol I love watching your vids I get excited for you when you find stuff lol happy skipping buddy

The pig toy in the bottom shelf of the tool chest was an odd find. Also, not sure if that Egg Nog needed to stay cold. Great finds!!

Colored plugs are used to mask holes for painting by looks of it. Maybe even powder coating

Great finds you can never have enough tool storage. Tool boxes also make a great metal detecting finds trays.

The Porter Sports Equipment thingy is a wall mount for a basketball backboard. Motor is missing. Made so you can push a button and adjust the height of the backboard.

It is also used for my wheelchair. I have a power chair and I drive it onto a platform and the unit raises the chair up and then that Porter Sports unit slides my chair in to my van. Works great, wonder how many other things it used for.

twenty ninth! lol That's a milling machine vice and a jump start capacitor, when the compressor in a fridge or freezer gets worn it takes more voltage to kick on, so a jump start capacitor can save an ailing appliance for another 3-5 yrs use.

I just bought one of those voltage testers, $20 at Home Depot. Turn on the power and the tip should light up green. If not, put in a new battery. If it lights up, rub it up and down your arm, real fast, if it's working, it will turn red.

Tip from It world. The last several years weve been doing our community roll off for office equipment right at the beginning of spring, usually end of april early may. All the offices in our building dump furniture, supplies, you name it. Others probably do the same where you are. Till i knew what was going on i assumed it was a construction roll off that would normally just have sheetrock and studs and other crap.

Tthose plugs are probably for sealing holes and cover up little threaded rod when you powdercoat something . They can withstand 200°C or more ...

There is a real fine sand in the alum tubes, if you cut them open do not breath in the dust. It is filter sand and would have a lot of germs in it.

If you have the rental truck still u can test things that plug in because there is a 120 plug on the right side of where u control your radio I use to detail these trucks
