Another great Video. The long Aluminum Wire is used to run from the top of the house where the 3 twisted wires come from the power pole meet. They run down to the meter box then on to the Circuit Breaker Panel. It is used for 100 Amp Service the larger more oval cable is for 200 Amp Service. The 100 Amp wire can also run from a main 200 Amp Circuit Breaker Panel to a additional Panel in another room rated for 100 Amps. The Night Vision was a SCORE.... I would expect they would get some interest on eBay. Likely did not have the cap when tossed. Walmart has bypass cutters in the garden center used to trim small branches and garden work for about $15.00 that would be a perfect addition to your cutters mounted in another leather holder. Electrician and Retired Navy.

I’ve dumpstered on a mountain bike with a backpack as well as using a van and a truck. It all depends on where you live and what is available to you. I enjoy watching your videos and listening to your musings, and I learned a lot from you when I started dumpster diving 3 years ago. You have a good system going. Cheers!

I went about 16 months without a vehicle. Between riding bike and taking public transportation it opened my eyes to a lot of things. About a month ago I paid $900 bucks or a ford explorer. I'll ride bike yet to pick scrap then use the vehicle to cash in on it

This really is a smart setup, running the scooter around. The biggest cost for the scrapper is the vehicle and the source. It's also less intrusive.. Traffic is less.. You can't look inside most of these dumpsters while you're in a truck lol. The only thing better would be an electric trike unless you had to get on the highway for any reason. Sadly they just don't make scooters my size! At least not ones I can easily find used.

I've sold boards scavenged from old TVs but the last TV I opened had dead cockroaches so I've been afraid to pick them up since LOL. I was taking the boards out then putting the covers back on then taking to the county recycling center.

Now of course this depends on where you live. cost can change DRAMATICALLY depending on where you live for example the reason I dismissed arizona as a place to live was they charged property tax on vehicles (like houses) Your numbers are quite off from averages however. I am not saying its not a good idea to use a scooter you CLEARLY do quite well and have filled an awesome niche. BUT it does NOT cost $9000 to own a vehicle. MY YEARLY TOTAL INCOME is $12,000 a year and I own 4 cars and a Bus. My electric car costs me almost literally nothing. Wiper blades and washer fluid. tires every couple of years. $2 to charge it up each time. (less than it costs you to run your scooter) Now insurance is a bit. I pay $1300 a year for full coverage on 2 cars and liability only on the other 2 and storage on the bus (it does not get driven it was used as a moving truck to get me to new mexico from pa and I have plans for it) Registration is $35 to $40 a year each. The gas cars need wipers once a year some washer fluid and an oil change once a year. (they get driven VERY little. only when I can't do what I need to do with the Electric car) My grand total per year is around $1800 a year including insurance fuel registration/gov fees and maintenance. FOR ALL OF THEM. I Just bought a Kia Soul salve title 2017 70k miles for $7800. Its replacing my minivan. as much as I LOVE the minivan its getting up their in age and miles and i need something that won't bite me with a big mechanic bill. so better to sell it now while its still worth $5000. so the kia will have cost me $2800 and I should get 10-15 years of easy going life out of it since its a backup car for the electric. it will probably see less than 2000 miles a year. maybe less than 1500 miles. so very little maintenance costs. amortized over 10 years that is $280 a year. I can live with that.

I had left over from running power to an electrical box from the pole 2 28-30 inch pieces of aluminum cable. I found using a cutting wheel on my drill the outside casing came off pretty easy. Bucked my aluminum turn in up for not too much effort.

We all feel good when we find the good stuff (nuggets of copper/brass) and yes when you have a small budget you can pass up tin shred. Peekie Boo! We've seen you collect a few cans in your needy days. Gloves? I use the plumbers saying, "shit rolls down hill and don't bite your fingernails." You are right about bungholes wanting to start fights over what seems to be nothing. But in fact you are taking what they feel is theirs especially when you pull out $100 from a dumpster when they live just down the street and are too lazy to go look and when they see you coming their laziness becomes frustrating irrational behavior.

Look up refillable printers by companies like Epson. I'm not talking about using generic or knockoff cartridges to replace legitimate ones. I mean there are big companies like Brother and Epson that sell printers with ink wells instead of cartridges. You will immediately reduce your ink costs by 70-80%.

it took me about 6 months to start getting lots of views. The first 6 months to a year is very difficult. For us non-stars you must publish 3 or 4 or more vids a week every week for 6 months to a year to just start to gain traction. ... and then... lol ... you must continue to publish a few times a week, then in a couple years you can publish once a week perhaps. It is different for everyone though. it does seem youtube selects certain channels to promote and give huge views with no real ryhme or reason. Make at least 4 videos a week until you have 100 vids on yuor channel, this is when you will know if it pays off....its a job, a real job just by itself. :)

I was scrappin garbage piles a couple of years ago after a storm shit was all piled up by the roads across from abunch of houses some prick came out and started yelling at me . I thought i was just getting rid of it so it didnt go to the land fill.

The (rock) you found that you thought was a arrowhead is a shark tooth looks like to me a very old shark tooth that has petrified maybe not but having a serrated edge and shaped just like one I would almost bet that’s what it is
