Have you noticed a change in what's in the dumpster since prices have gone up? On the salads, even if you can't use all the salads... you can take the goodies such as cheese, chicken, etc... and use for other things or freeze for later.

@@christab2050 that's what I was thinking too.. until they start ordering less. But I would think that certain basic things always have to be stocked. That was an amazing amount of salads they tossed.

This is one of the best food saves. I was at Aldi last week and was DELIGHTED to see spotted banana marked down .25. I filled my cart! Every time I watch your videos all I think of is how you are helping the earth with less being dumped. Rev 11:18- You will ….bring to ruin those ruining the earth

I went by the place where I had seen the guy throwing away the produce again last night after closing. Workers outside were next to a huge bag + box of bananas. I, with bag in hand, asked them if they were free. They said yes, offered me some, and I gathered up a few more. Then on to a strip mall with a with a smoothie place, found the dumpsters, it was dark, but dumpster enclosure was lit. There were about 5 frozen bowls. Rescued & now in freezer.

Amazing mega haul …….yes make some hooch lol ……while walking to the grocery store I left my house took about twenty steps and found a queen size duvet from luxe silk still in the bag tag on my daughter googles and found out it was worth $289.00 it was the most expensive thing I have ever found woo hoo

Check for recalls on the salads. Not sure if it is the same brand but there was recently a recall on precooked chicken and salads made with precooked chicken. Great haul!

I actually found a chain saw, grill, 2 immersion blenders, a robotic hard wood floor duster and a hammock in one Aldi dumpster. Unreal

The wire racks that frugal daddy found at time stamp 4:42 he could cut them in a circle to the size of the pot you use for water bath canning and you have yourself a free trivet.

Let's talk about fermented fruit. Bought 2 watermelon bowls at a big box store. Opened one to eat some. The watermelon juice was thick. I immediately threw them both away.

I cut the pineapple up into small pieces and dehydrated it for cookies or oatmeal. I did Apple's and also cantaloupe into thin strips there so good and I can have it whenever also watermelon. Use mesh net on your dehydrator if you can't pay there price go by to a fabric store and buy it in sheet's and cut it to fit your dryer. No it won't burn or melt.

Super excited! First grocery store dd yesterday! Happened shortly after dark, multiple apples, one avocado, four huge bananas and endless fresh mixed greens. Was on way to local university (students moving out till end of month) when I turned and saw a worker throwing out produce in a green bin. A few hours later I swung by again. It was dark, but I grabbed what I could off the top. Oh & scored big time earlier at the university, including dozens of unexpired coffee pods still in boxes! Thank you both for showing me how it's done!
