Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. I was living in Baton Rouge and our house was flooded with about two feet of flood water for two weeks. Our TV fell in the water, we let it dry out and plugged it in and it worked. Thought you would like to know. Thanks for doing what you do. GODSPEED!!

Pet stores use that air hose for aquarium pumps. Motor cycle shops use it for fuel line .

You can put plywood in the slots on the rack and make a shelf with it

As for the beveled glass I made so many of them in a shop I worked for before they bought the bevel machine. If you get a scratch use a wet cork belt and that will remove the scratches from glass. Remember not to stay on one spot too long as it will make a wavy effect. That Japanese figure is quite unique.

Both my Mom and little sister got help through HOSPICE when they were dying with cancer. I would donate all the medical supply's to them : )

That plastic hose works really well for fish tanks or anywhere you need to pipe in some air.

Its terrible over hear in the uk at the moment. We have practically been cut off from everyone 1000s of wagons lined up trying to get out the country. And for the people that cant spend it with family I feel sorry for. But be grateful we are still alive. All the best you and your family mike from the uk

That medical hose is good stuff. Obviously can't trust it for medical use anymore, but it's high quality tube for general purpose use. My dad fixed the windshield fluid sprayer tubes with some of it on the van.

You could put the car manuals on EBay. I’m sure you can sell them. Could have checked the dates on rolls. They probably come frozen to the establishment and they thaw them as needed.

Oxygen concentrators...my dad had COPD from removing asbestos in 1980s working in the iron mining industry in northern Minnesota...it gave him Stage 4 lung cancer and he passed away 12/13/2019 of last year - we miss him dearly - he was ‘the town plumber’ his own business The green and white tubes attach to the concentrator and send oxygen into your nose; also used on nebulizers for asthma; box of single-packaged tubes is $60 The clear bottles are called Bubblers you put water in them and they attach to the concentrator and send water mist moisture into the tubes and into your nose My Dad purchased 2 concentrators himself $700 each - one at home and one at the lake house Now concentrators are mostly used for Covid patients

I too dumpster diving but mainly interesting in electronic waste & finding scap then after disassemblying it for copper,alu,brass etc.And making money or ,repairing founded stuff,repair cell phones,car,traveling etc.. You may support me and help me your subscription :) enjoy Merrry Christmas

Mike i could use one of those grey bags. The reason the hose gets tossed is they go by a use date on them. That headlight you cut the cord off might been a halo light and even if its cracked still worth $20.

Those O2 parts are worth serious money. The AC adapters and carry cases are too (just get consumed by the users and OEM replacements are ridiculously expensive!). If those O2 machines work, move over!

Hey Yo Mike!!!! Love your videos... That White Cable that you found at the beginning of this video is ran through an infrastructure and connects to Cellular Signal repeaters to boost cell signal in big buildings and such... Take care brother!!!

The big thing you put back in the dumpster was the frame to a Manitowoc ice machine. The plate you grabbed was the compressor mount and the coils mount in between the 2 side panels. A trough slides in under the pump. It was basically stripped already. Merry Christmas to you and your family! 👍

Those portable oxy gos can cost up to, 2 thousand dollars there so exspensive I no I can't afford one and the tubbing can also be used in fish tanks good scraping Mike😎🤟

It's elliptical coaxial cable, microwave signal is pushed through it in buildings. The oxygen concentrators sell on marketplace and eBay for no less than 300$ each all day long and same with the regulators @25$ each

Yes, Oxygo is a portable oxygen concentrator that can be worn with a strap over the shoulder like a purse. Allowing the user more freedom to travel around.

I’m still interested in one of those ResMed machines. Of course I would send it off to a repair shop first and get it fully cleaned and put back in service if possible at a reasonable price.

That headlight assembly would have brought $100+ online...I’ve found several and they all were intact and sold within a week for over $100

Yes the smaller oxygen concentrator is for on the go so they don’t have to carry oxygen tanks around cause they are so heavy

The white cable looks like Heliax Coax that type probably for cell booster in building system. Its copper easy to strip off outer cover.

The valves for the oxygen tanks you should scrap. A bad valve can cause the oxygen tank to explode. There are expiration dates on tubing but as long as package is sealed and the tubing is soft(not hard from age ) it’s ok to use. When our mom passed away we took all the extra supplies to a senior center and they were tickled to get it.

Press tab down ,slide battery forward. You have to have it on the unit to charge. Yes it is portable oxygen

Once upon a time I was "body by Fisher", now it's more like "Body by Sanford & Son"! Major weight/carry restrictions if I don't feel like landing in surgery for the fourth time. 26:15 I'd have grabbed that plastic packing stuff, ripped open one pocket and used it like a glove. I think the Chinese lady was meant for a restaurant or other commercial establishment.

That tall black shelf is a display for a store and probably had glass shelves. Looked like there was something in the one Toshiba box to the left in that dumpster that was locked.

those clear bottles with the black top, are used to provide moisture for your nose when getting oxygen. also those cpap machines are used be careful touching those as wells as keeping any of the equipment due to COVID, just saying

Money load oxygen go new $1400 or more. They are survivable. Oxygen Concentrators have a really quiet a ir compressor pump in them, built to run and run. I’m not in Houston anymore but I’m shocked that they toss em out but they are just sales places. And as they are medical stuff they just toss them out. Welding guy’s n gals like them. Mike amazing mike the scavenger!!
