A lot of the food store employees feel the same way. The store is under strict health codes to discard food and it's not their fault either. If they violate the codes, they get fined and if they get fined multiple times, the manager gets fired. I feed my family from dumpster foods during the Winter, so I have been blessed.

Oh wow that Aldi employee is incredible! It seems Christmas came early! 🌲 Hopefully more people gets the bread and fruits from the little pantry so it won't go bad. It really saddens me to see these food thrown away when many people go hungry. But its really heartwarming to know you're doing your part to save and share as much as you can! It does my heart good to see all that fresh food chinched in there and not piled high in the dumpster! You are definitely God’s instrument of love and kindness! I love Aldi's. I go everyday but Saturday morning there. I fill the blessing box up everyday with fresh fruits and veggies. Our frig is full as well. I also get out the stuff that is close to being bad to someone with 20 chickens to feed them those fruits and veggies and any opened it smashed bread for the chickens.

That's awesome. I was just thinking she needs to pair with someone that has chickens and trade some of the processed goodies like candy for eggs for her own family and for the pantry. Bonus if she could provide chicken food with the unusable and open bread and produce. Wow that combo connection would be amazing. Now just how to find someone with chickens that needs some candy!

The plastic sheets with grippers are for under your desk chair. The grippers keep it from moving on the carpet. They sell for about $30.00.

What an amazing haul! I wish all employees were like that lady at Aldis. During this difficult time, when so many have lost so much, no employees should criticize or stop anyone from dumpster diving. Cathie I so look forward to your videos. With all the horrible things going on in the world watching you and your excitement to give to others really makes my heart happy. I have looked and looked for a little pantry near me but there just are none. Right now I'm dealing with a health issue and will have surgery next Friday. I am hopeful for a full recovery and hopefully God will provide that for me. When I am recovered I am going to make it my mission to go out looking for food so I can donate and help others.
