If you're going to play Bingo common you should have Wild Card boxes. That way if you find any stuff not on the list you can use the wild card box

Hey Thub, I know you use the grinder to fit longer items into your car, but don't forget to open that back glass hatch, fold the passenger seat flat to stuff longer items into the Vibe/Matrix

Congratz on the 100k! Keep doing the awesome thing! We were just up clearing out an outdoor shooting range in the mountians. 20 lbs of yellow brass. 75 lbs of steel shells and 50 lbs of shot gun shells to process! Cant wait for the experimental videos!! :)

If you want a somewhat quieter option for bending some things, use the dumpster to your advantage. As long as you aren’t damaging anything, you can use the various loops and connections, even just the door being open and hooking the chain, you can leverage (again) _some_ of these longer pieces into bending.

Hey Thub, Another great video as usual! An idea regarding the scrap bingo you could write down all the things and number them from 1 to whatever and then use an online random number generator for those numbers and then use it to fill in your bingo sheet. that ways it's completely random. an idea for a prize if you get a bingo could be something along the lines of treating yourself to some treat like a chocolate bar or something similar. With the number generator idea you can also add it to the beginning of the video to create more video length on shorter films. Anyways keep up the great work!

Hard to tell, but those look like legit 2-piece rims. At least the rivets go through. Might be totally cosmetic though. Likely came off a Jeep based on the bolt spacing. Too bad there isn't a set of 4 cause you can get way more than scrap value for those.

Don't know if you have a battery grinder, but you can determine metal content by the spark color, and if it doesn't spark, then you know its something else. Edit: I'm and idiot, you have it all. I shouldn't comment before I see the entire vid.

I’m a little annoyed that 11 months ago you claimed the bags were going to be gone very soon, so I bought some to show support even though I was in the middle of a messy move and had very little funds. Luckily I was able to get them even though they arrived long after I was at a different address due to the kindness of the new tenant. How many months will these bags be “leaving soon?”

I want your truck to be back badly! When I see that bin full of tin steel, the other day it would easily fit the back of the truck, and now it's a pass/struggle. 🐌

I have watched your videos for few weeks now Thub. Great content. It is interesting to see what people throw out without second thought in Canada/US, because in Eastern Europe people still take their scrap to the yard themselves - especially after renovations. And as with the DVD collection - that would've not been a lot of work to do from family to sort them and get them to right buyers - guess there was some emotional baggage with that. Question though - why you don't carry a Medium sized sledgehammer with you for breaking down cast iron and some other stuff that takes time with the small Hammer? You could even make a custom one that has wedge on one side :)

How do you do your tire extraction. I have a machine still some work but what do you do with the rubber pay too dump it? Or can you cash in with rubber and take a hit on paycheck

I’ve done a few videos on it but for me the best way seems to be a reciprocating saw with a diablo metal cutting blade, straight down the sidewall and through the bead. This obvs destroys the rim but if it’s scrap it doesn’t matter to me anyway. I’m fortunate that in my area we have free drop off of tires at the landfill so I just have to drive them over there, doesn’t cost me anything but the gas

I collect scrap in a bicycle using panniers and a trailer, my advice is to concentrate on cable / wire, copper and brass. Don't expect to make a fortune at first, make cards and put on them you are looking for wire. Put the cards your neighbors doors and in local area.

@@ebikescrapper3925you might add a time slot to the card that says the time and date that you're going to swing by, or a means of contact for a pick up. Bring someone with you for pickups, but try to figure out how to make a contactless pickup
