At the end of the video when the lathe stops you can see there are lumps missing from the wheel 🤣 then the camera shows a different wheel on the floor 🤣🤣 this is absolutely terrible and I wouldn’t use that wheel on a toy pedal car 🤣🤣🤣

@@dai786, In fact, aluminum rims are 'forged', not simply cast. These are, by poor design, much weaker than they should be to be actually safe.

@@dai786 в том то и дело что ты не думаешь ! при таком качестве литья невозможно обеспечить прочность детали , там кругом будет воздух , во вторых диски льют из прочных алюминиевых сплавов а не из дерьмового алюминиевого лома ! в третих эти рукоголовожопы механобработку проводят как буд то для ослиной телеги деревянные колеса точат , при таком качестве токарки , не отбалансированные диски не позволят выше 40 км/ч разгоняться , оторвет нахер все подшипники !

При балансировке можно на один диск все грузики израсходовать на одной шиномонтажке.

Like all Pakistani sand cast items NOBODY cares about the quality of the material they are pouring , just dump whatever you can find who cares if its covered in oil or grease the smelting will remove it and not add impurities to the material . I would like to know how much these hard working men make.

A very crude copy of a wheel and using moulding sand that has been recycled numerous times. Then the quality of the scrap aluminium being used leaves a lot to be desired. That wheel would be very dangerous to use on anything that moved much more than walking pace.

I think that's plainly obvious to all but dogs and cats. What I'm more interested in are economics. Do there guys make a good living from this? I mean, do they eat, have families etc? I think in their, much simpler and in many ways preferable lives [to our thin and superficial lives], are they happy?

Круто! Сверловка под болты не имеет никакого отношкния к центровке "диска". Как там дырки в ступицу попадут одни боги знают.

Диск садится на центровку, а болты там плюс минус 0,5 не играет роли. Конусные болты/гайки продавят себе посадку. новые диски предписывают подтягивать сперва первые 30-40км, и позже еще когда поездишь...

Nothing like wearing flip flops and carrying molten metal inches away from the exposed feet. What can go wrong. I think they have to power wash the feet after a shift. I’m surprised a tire can actually seal and hold air with these rims, and then you need at least 2 pounds of tire weights to balance them on the car. The precise hand milling and 1827 lathe is amazing.

You have to machine from the hub out if you don’t start at the mounting point it’s gonna be out of round ?

Exactly. You machine the inner hole first, then you mount to that. Then everything is true from that point on as you machine the outside diameter. You then put it on a mill indicate the center hole true, and you can drill all the lug bolt holes and be certain they are 100% correct. This is about the shittiest work I have ever seen.

А-ха-ха, народ в коментах правильно определил проблему - это по-факту только модель диска. Надо по уму лить из правильного расплава, ПОД ДАВЛЕНИЕМ, либо центробежным литьем, а еще лучше не лить, а КОВАТЬ диски, чтобы убрать пузырьки воздуха и сформировать в сплаве прочные волокнистые слои.

This shows what we was 40 years a go. But I respect the work , also if done so and so . When they glue some material onto the model😂 is due to the shrinkage of the casted alluminium (around 1.7%) ..instead make a new model they use the fatter one. Respect ! ....

В России диски в основном местного производства. Россия клепает диски для большинства мировых брендов, а потом мы же их и покупаем в 3 раза дороже.

С ихними дорогами надо деревянные колеса делать.Быстро и недорого.С тополя бензопилой чурбачок пильнул,дырки дрелькой просверлил,покрышку с мусорки напялил ближайшей и в путь дорожку😂😂😂😂😂

Проточка колёсных дисков без единого измерительного инструмента. Всё на ощупь и на глаз. Не уверен, что такую продукцию можно использовать без ОТК! Да и вообще!
