What an excellent day dumpster diving for scrap metal! Not only did we go on a good long run and fill the truck right up, but we came home with some treasures and even got some nice packages in the mail! Couldn't ask for better.
Wire stripper I use: amzn.to/3sirg18
The motorized stripper: amzn.to/3y0JMuQ
The wire cutters I like: amzn.to/2T6j3OW
This is the cheaper version: amzn.to/2SwrYsB
And here are those grips I recommend: amzn.to/2QCJmYl
(If you make a purchase on amazon through the links above, a small amount of what amazon makes on the sale is shared with me. It's a great way to help support my channel, at no additional cost to you. Even if you buy something other than my tool recommendations!)
Please like/share this video if you enjoyed it, and subscribe to thubprint!

You know Thub, your motto of "Leave it better than you found it" has made a HUGE impact on my life. I say it frequently and I am inspired to take extra initiative to live the motto as I go on walks. But, with the room that was in those first 2 dumpsters, and the stuff you left sitting outside of them...IDK...I feel like you took your foot off the pedal a little...
@tinathompson2877

Yeah, those 2 dumpsters were nasty inside and out. I know he says his motto in every video, but should be have to clean up someone else's trash like that? I mean, if he picked something up and decided it wasn't worth taking or whatever, he could have tossed it in the dumpster, but for him to clean up every piece isn't really his place. He does clean up most of the areas he dives, but those were really way to much!!!

How did you scrap the water cooler without venting the refrigerant into the atmosphere? I always walk away from those for this reason.
@javajeff3772
@javajeff3772 Жыл бұрын
I would like to hear the answer to this question too. People look up to you, man. When people see you scrapping a water cooler, or worse an air conditioner without mentioning how important it is to reclaim the refrigerant, then they will do the same. It’s important that the scrapping community help protect the environment and take appliances that contain refrigerant to an appropriate location to have the refrigerant professionally reclaimed. Venting the refrigerant into the atmosphere to get a couple of dollars of scrap is never acceptable.

Hey kind off topic question. Do you think that it worth it taking apart a car and selling the reusable things and scraping the metal parts is worth? Or just selling it whole or the least profitable scraping the car while at the junkyard. This is for a late 90 pick up that has 200k and I don’t realistically see someone paying me more than $700 for.
