Howdy, y'all! My name is Mike and I absolutely love scavenging for free stuff, random treasures, lost valuables and other interesting artifacts. I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. I am sorry that you are dealing with mental illness. I understand what you are going through and Mike always lifts my mood and takes my mind off of all the negative. I hope you are able to get rest and that this passes fast. Always remember that you are a child of God and he will get rid of those demons, you just need to ask him to. You are amazing and loved. I have been doing this about 20 years. This is how I deal with the BX with paper wrap inside. Cut it in about 10 foot lengths. Uncurl about an inch of steel or aluminum casing on each end. Lock the end you uncurled in a vise. At the other end Vise Grip one wire ( if it has a ground bare wire start with that one ) . One wire will want to slide out easier than 3 or 4 at a time. Now the remaining wires will have more room to slide out. Just how I do it. I do not say that this is the best way.. Love your vids.

Hey Mike, It's amazing some of the new stuff you find that people throw away. It's great for you, for the stuff you can sell. Also, the stuff you can donate by helping others. Your job by scrapping helps more then just you. Which I think is awesome. Take care and be safe.

Love seeing the lock on the dumpster and Mike just pulls the lid back. It didnt stop the Scavenger from finding his treasures

Another Mike the scavenger video, NICE! I work as a fiber optic field tecnician, and every time someone ask for some scrap i have to tell them its just fiber and has no scrap value. They always leave with a long face. I even ofer the left overs to them!. Usually keep the little copper snibits i find to myself, and strip them at home while watching your videos. I like your work mate!!

The husband and I have been scrapping for 20 years. We were scrapping on Sunday , in our normal route, where Mr. and Mrs. Got rocks lives. I had jumped out of the truck , "like a pro" , . Helped the husband load some scrap onto the truck. Went to jump back in the truck , grabbed the "oh crap" bar ,to sling me inside. I'm getting old. The brain forgot to tell me to duck.... I cracked my head so hard , by the time I could open my eyes , I didn't know if I made it into the truck. When I looked , I was in the truck ,my husband freaked. Dang it hurt bad !!! I see you jumping in and out all over the place. Just be careful. That first time that you don't land right , it'll rock your world all up !!!

You need a burner phone then you could make business cards with that number. Then, in the places that keep leaving out water heaters and such on a regular basis that take up tons of space you could leave a card with a note on it saying I'm happy to pick up any metal you've got. Also, have you ever tried just calling some contractors and telling them you're happy to grab their scrap?

Hey Mike, I would love to see a start-to-finish video series. Where you show 1. A day/night of scavenging. 2. Breakdown of the haul. Stripping/separation of wires/metals and such, electronics, yard sale stuff. 3. Scrapyard, eBay, yard sale etc. 🤙 Keep up the great work. 🤙🤙🤙

Mike the first dumpster on your video. The truck was so far back I thought you were going to throw scrap through the windshield. Looks like you enjoy making the big throws. FYI Mike, a drawing purchased 5 years ago at a house clearance sale turned out to be an original dated around 1503. It will soon go for auction and estimated to bring $50 million. Never hurts to check on those like you tossed to the side. Wouldn't that be a find!!

Hey Mike have you ever considered going ahead and getting the tin wall studs. Just get a big bundle of them and put a bungie cord around them and make a heavy bundle of them instead of allot of loose pieces. That's allot of bad material going to the landfill and it would be a little money that is being passed over. Man I love your videos. I started from the beginning again and have seen you evolve into a good KZfaqr. You sure get in and out of dumpsters allot better now than you were able to 3 years ago.

Jabra is a brand of phone supplies. I've used their products for years while in call center settings. When i went WFH i log into Sisco and put on my Jabra headset and wait for callers. The key pads with them are dial pads for those who do a lot of outbound calling.
