Hey been meaning to tell you and keep forgetting. My dad used rustolem paint. He use to paint his oil tanks and gates with it. Of course he always got some on his clothes. My mom would take them out side and let them soak in a little gasoline. The should would scrub them and the paint would come out. She would put them in a tub of water with detergent and wash the gas out and wash until she couldn’t smell the gas. . She would then rinse them. She hung them on a line to dry. She was always got that oil based, red paint out of his work clothes. Know it takes awhile but it worked. Just thought I’d pass that along. And before any one has a fit, this was outside. I told Alma in accounting that I had passed along her tip about using dynamite to get the red paint off of the stuff you find. She wanted me to come back to tell you that she CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND the use of dynamite. She said that most (but not all) items were damaged beyond repair by the explosion, and the very last time she she used this method she lost a couple of fingers on her right hand. She can still use the 10-key, but not as well as before. I'm glad she clarified this. In other news, that cricket pen wasn't all it was cracked up to be. 🦗

Steph who ever you give the fish tank to needs to scrub it out with bleach water then leave it out in the hot sun for 3 days. After 3 days spray the inside of the tank with just water then smell the tank. If it still smells like bleach rinse it out really well with water, leave out in sun for another 3 days. Continue doing that until you no longer smell the bleach. The bleach kills any bacteria and makes the tank safe for other critters. Love you guys 💞 Stay Happy 😂 Safe and Healthy everyone 💕

There's a product called 'runaway'. You'll find it in the laundry sect in the supermarket. It's for removing dye when colours run into whites. It might be worth a try.

My granddaughter has a cricket house. She feeds her dragon crickets. The crickets they sell you to feed lizards don’t usually chirp.

The hoses can be repaired if it's only the fittings. I've repaired several by just cutting off the bad ends and replacing them with new ones from the hardware store like Lowes, or Home Depot.

I researched dumpster diving in my State, Indiana, and found out that once a store puts something in their dumpster, they relinquish all rights to what they threw away. It has essentially become property of the waste management company that owns the dumpster. If it's not illegal, then it's anyone's right to dig and salvage anything saveable from a dumpster

That tank you can use clear caulk

I make rag rugs out of old clothes and destroyed linens that I find in the dumpster. I have a teal curtain from Ollies that I'm slowly cutting into little strips for my rag rugs. IDK why they don't donate those linens to agencies that help homeless people getting apartments to help furnish them.

Do you guys ever set up at the flea market or have garage sales anymore? I loved it when you did that :)
