All those beautiful tiles! You could turn the narrow tiles into shelves (either alone or glued to a piece of wood), used them to cover the top of a table, used smaller tiles together to cover a section of wall for decor, used the small round or natural stone tiles to put on mirror or picture frames, etc. So many creative uses for them.

Holy moly but crafters be crying right now. We’d all loved to have access to those tiles. That slab of marble is great for the kitchen to make candy( chocolates) my heart is broken because of those tiles. Bacon, or slice fresh tomato. Southerners have eaten molasses with biscuits.

Steve could add them tiles to his cement projects. 😊

Those tiles were amazing. I was married military we called it "Chit" on a Shingle. Biscuits and gravy, power food. You all made cement lol Been there done that.

You could mount pictures of family members behind the shower ring and tie a Christmas ribbon on top to make ornaments for the tree. Can brush mod podge on the ring and cover with glitter prior to putting a picture. I bet the grandkids would love to make them for all the members in your family for Christmas 🎄 Just an idea! My grandma saves bacon grease and adds flour to it, along with black pepper, to make her gravy. It's how my family in the south make it. I need to do that the next time I make bacon. Oh, and to keep bacon from shrinking while cooking, run it under cold water, or let it sit in cold water for a couple of minutes!

That large piece of marble style tile would be great to roll out dough. A cold surface keeps the fat used in the dough solid .

The city in GA Athens I said, both of Keith's parents are from Athens. All of Keith's families on both sides live there. He has Aunts, Uncles and cousins living there. Keith's Mom was the youngest of 8 children. Mr and Mrs Bates grew up in the same neighborhood and married at 16yrs. Mr. George Bates was career Military and fought in WW2, Korea and Vietnam. After serving in the Military they moved to Sumter South Carolina. They were considered outlines for they moved out of GA to SC. (Pretty funny how families are). Steph, I like the tile really nice. Coasters! My friends once used mixed tile pieces to lay at entry of front door like a inlayed mat. Also they mad a evil eye round table top out of many many multiple tile pieces n chips it is the prettiest ever

I use those tiles, cut long ones in half for hot dishs. stones keep dishs heated and doesnt burn your counters. You can also redo out side tables with them.

Kitty condos can always be re-carpeted with cheap or free carpet remnants(new of course), if you can't get ink off. You can minimize paint on carpet a little bit with a sweater shaber/de-fuzzer or electric razor you aren't using otherwise

Steph - you needed to mix about two teaspoons of arrow root with half a cup of cold water and mix to a smooth slurry then it can be used this to thicken gravy. Added directly to hot liquid it just sets up without mixing in.

ARROWROOT TRICK - like cornstarch, you mix the arrowroot in a small bowl with water first to get it liquified, then add to your gravy/drippings. ;) Good luck...they also make amazing yorkshire puddings using Arrowroot!

Use the tiles for lining bottoms of wood trays, put small penny ones on outside of a small vase, do Stepping stones with cement and mosaic blend, maybe? LoL. I have hard time leaving those types of things due to it being such a waste. I donate a ton.

Well Steph you got a lot of things but I just wanted to let you know that went to the hardware store in the next town because we don't have one in our town and when I came out of the back door of the store I saw a 1/4" cable over the lids of their dumpster so I had to go look at the left end and it was paddle locked close. That is what they do around here.

Marble slab also good for rolling & kneeding dough....

The Arrowroot is cornstarch and you always use water with cornstarch and make a thin liquid with it and then stream it into the liquid that you are using for the gravy while it is gently boiling.

First.. let me say I absolutely love watching your channel and tbh it's the only dumpster diving channel I watch 💕 but I have to be honest and say that there have been times when you've found certain items, and probably without realizing how useful and valuable they are/were, you chose to leave them behind 😲 That's when I literally start talking to my screen.. telling you no.. go back.. don't leave those.
