I used to respect people who wanted to better themselves by attending college and university, but I have realised that these places are not places of education systems but places of indoctrination for whacky causes. So today, I have no respect for people who attend or attend college and university. In fact, I love standing next to someone who has been to one of these places because they make me feel intelligent.

So his argument can be boiled down, to. Because religions disagree and because people disagree. Therefore, objective truth does not exist...

It's truly good to see calm, honest dialog between 2 people with differing worldviews. For that guy to be self aware that there are things in their outside of his "worldview" that he has to "bite the bullet" is interesting. To acknowledge that there is something he has to basically push to the side (because of his presupposition of only subjective reality and no good or evil comes from moral questions) shows that there is more than just subjective opinions on moral events. To say that the holocaust was only subjectively wrong says that there could have been good in/from it according to someone else. Which is rediculious. Even the nazis who were carrying out their orders knew it was wrong. They were conditioned to not view it that way. Plus, the higher ups/leaders abandoned their values of what they were doing when they were hunted/lost the war/caught.

I don't believe in non-religious people. I believe you either follow an established religion or a customized religion.

@trumpbellend6717 You can have Religions without a God. Most forms of Buddhism for example do not have a God. So iwas wondsring how this person is defining Religion. Maybe he means a State Religion like Communists often adopt. Perhaps he meant the concept of placing Blind Faith in something without evidence or despite the Evidence like Many Christians do. (shrugs)

I'm an atheist and think I'm a great person. My friends like me. I treat them with respect like I treat anybody with respect until they don't deserve my respect. I don't believe you need religion in your life to be decent human being
