Of course it's important to the movie, but it may not be so important to the reaction. I mean if you want to watch the movie, you can just go and watch the movie, the reaction is just to see how a specific person responds to it, and they are likely just trying to edit it in the way that is most interesting. It may be a great scene, but if Cody doesn't have much to say about it, it may be better to cut it out in favor of other scenes that he may have more to bring to the table when talking about.
