Congratulation to Mr. Beast. Small question at around 1:29:00 he uses the Emperor "Sardaukar" spot and puts the 4 x Troops directly into conflict, but the Space does not include the crossing swords to allow putting them into conflict.

He uses Sardaukar Coordination. He bought it back around 32:01 (look there for the zoom in).

Should of seen it for the two hours we spent sorting the tourney format lol. Nah, Justin was fantastic to work with and did a great job ruling over the course of the comp.

I really enjoyed this, Uprising is looking very interesting, does anyone know if they're including it in the digital version? Also great to hear that more tourneys could be in the works at the end there!

First, host more games. Even watching you feel the tension the game creates within the world of Dune and that is fun. Second, holy spice what a finale by Jimmy! Swiping up 6+ vp in the final round to run away with the game is insane! Well done.

Watch It Played had a rules video up, but there were some errors in it. I think they're re-editing it for release

I think they already took his advice. Examples: (1) The blue colour of the table curtain, it contrasts well with the other game pieces, (2) the top-down camera set up is probably the best angle to film a board game, (3) instead of see the top of the players heads, we see their nickname and chosen leader. And some other quality of life stuff in the video.

Long gone are the days when a board game was a self contained whole experience: Puerto Rico, Twilight Struggle,, Caylus, Euphrat & Tigris, and even more recent games as Gaya Project, never needed an expansion. They were just FINE! We're living in a world where a base game stands up for about a couple of years and then it becomes obsolete! We're in the era of HYPER cult of the new, HYPER hype-rules-everything and HYPER blind consumerism. Long gone are the good old days... I mean, I bought D:I plus its expansions this same year! WTF! 🤬 The majority of board game publishers are money grabbers these days! 😡😤🤬

Gaia is getting an expansion. Agricola has many expansions. Terra mystica has many expansions and more on the way. But yeah, they are doing it for money.
