@@cbloc12 should have been excruciatingly easy for Veo to release Mouse, Sebastian to vortex warp Pluto to Mouse, and Pluto to teleport Mouse and himself out. From there, Veo and Sebastian have a dozen options to escape through teleportation and other means. Worst case scenario, Sebastian the LICH holds the line while Veo escapes, and if Sebastian dies, he'll have a reunion with his mom while Pluto and Veo tell the High Flamekeeper about how Sebastian gave his life to save another's 🤣

Eldritch knight with Paladin is so MAD. You're way better off going pure Paladin. Or Soradin. Or Hexadin. Basically anything other than Eldritch knight....

Everything is mad, but divine smite doesn't require charisma, and shield doesn't require intelligence. So str, con, and wis for the majority of saves.

@razzlebazzle420 still requires at minimum 13 int and 13 cha. That means no max primary Stat. If shield is what your after Sorcerer is the way to go with paladin If you're looking for maximum stats, Hexblade is the wat to go with paladin. If you want to run an Eldritch Knight, you're better off going 5 levels of EK and then the rest War Wizard. Eldritch knight and Paladin is simply the worst option. There isn't an argument here. It's simple math.

@@chrisg8989 yeah if you point buy. What is this, adventurer's league? But, as an aside, Eldritch knight only requires 13 str, and paladin requires 13 str and cha. Your in full plate so dex is dumped, as is intelligence. Plenty of room for growth, and the ASIs, which go into str til max, then probably GWM. I'm not saying it's a good idea, certainly not optimal, it's an odd split once you get your 7th level in EK. Cha casters are always going to have better synergy off the bat, way better multiclass options, especially the divine soul sorc and swords bard. But I can't see how it would be any more or less effective than a battle master with Ignatius, slinging out 8 attacks in 2 separate rounds, being able to do it again after a short nap. Big damage against a single enemy is great, but Monty doesn't always roll like that, he'll swarm you with minions and reduce your resources, spell slots included. Can't take them off a battle master.

They did it during this episode, they all discussed what they gained at the level up after Monty announced they hit 18.

I'd rather see taking levels of Paladin instead of retraining because he would lose his most powerful abilities. But yeah, makes sense to go down that path.

I'd love it to happen, but his charisma is way too low to multi class into paladin
