Free kicks are definitely not easy. Highlights like Okocha’s and Messi’s will make them look like they’re nothing but they’re definitely hard. I would say that penalty kicks are more like free throws but they’re harder since there’s obviously no one blocking the free throws in BB.

@@klkmel its more like the 18 yard box is the 3 point line and goal tending is allowed but ya have to be under 6 foot lol but yeah ya mostly right ... watching free kick highlights is more kinda like watching steph curry 3 point highlights from deep deep ... id say 35 to 40 yards is a half court type o shot. and half way line goals are like scoring from ya own 3 point zone

Nothing you’ve seen in all your reactions are easy, especially freekicks. If you play football you’ll understand how difficult everything is to do, especially in a game situation. Its because you’re watching the greatest players ever so they tend to make everything look easy af. All your reactions are great though, keep it up💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

That back heel flick over the head is named after him, Ronaldinho learned from him. He made me switch from basketball to football, he was my idol and I tried to copy his style. He is a legend in Germany, England, France, Turkey and of course Nigeria. Free kicks are easy if you have the touch (depending on who you ask). 10% of players have it I'd say. If you can easily copy other peoples movements like a good dancer you are probably one of them and you are more likely to have that touch in football. Body awareness and creativity are key. Those "Super Eagles" from '94-'98 (the Nigerian national team with - Okocha, Kanu, Oliseh, George, West, Lawal, Amokachi, Ikpeba, Okpara, Babayaro...) were the best African national team ever. You need a defender with a similar mindset, who can read the attacker to stop someone like Neymar Jr.

I grew up watching this dude. I tried to replicate all his moves with little to no success. One of the best African players of all time. On how to stop good dribblers. It is always a team effort. Really good players need to be marked by two or three guys so if he passes one there is another one already on top of him. If your team doesn't have solid defense game it's gonna be exposed by a good dribbler

The chance of scoring a goal from a free kick is just a few percent. you have to be very perfect. You have to hit over the wall, the ball must be curled to make it fall, and it must have the right speed or else the goalkeeper will hit it. It is very difficult, Go out on the pitch and check it out for yourself!

Yeah its really hard, but when you practice every day (experience) you get a feel to the distances and after a while you keep banging them in like the pro's, actually a lot of fun in the summer. That all without the pressure of 80k people, leaderboard, maybefew bad games in the past, it must be so hard for them.

I am realizing that I should have said that he was my favourite African player of all time. He was special, and someone who could play as an attacker, and as a field general in the middle of the pitch. Africa is full of great talent, and it is only in the past decade when they have really shown the started to blossom. I highly recommend looking for videos on Eto from Cameroon, he is the best African striker/forward of all time in my eyes.

For Jay Jay, you need to understand how he changed the game. In his time (early 90s) offense in football was all about dribble, pass, run and shoot but Jay Jay was one of the first players to introduce flair and being efficient at the same time. This got him into trouble at the beginning of his career as coaches see him as not being serious on the pitch.

Great Video guys. Finally my Hero Jay Jay. Freekicks are very hard to score. You have to train your ass to be that accurate with a Ball. And to stop a top dribbler like Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar, you have to be a worldclass defender like Van Dijk or Maldini. The best way to stop Neymar is either a foul or you have to defend with 2 or three players. And please make a Video on the best Celebrations in Football.

Okocha was Ronaldinho before Ronaldinho, its a shame that at his prime he didn't play at well known clubs, and it's more sad that African players started to shine and signing in big teams just when he stopped playing, until then you could count them on your one hand. He played in Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany in the early 90s (an average team), did realy crazy stuff like the playing with the goalkeeper you saw who happens to be one of the best goalkeepers of all time. Then he pllayed in Fenerbache in Turkey, so when he signed for PSG (clubs 1st ever 10+ million signing, which back then it was like signing for 50+ million) he had just past his peak. At PSG he mentored young Ronaldinho. In international level he beat the latest golden generations of Argentina (with Ortega, Batistuta, Zanetti, etc) and of Brasil (R9-Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos etc) at the late stages of young international tournaments and Nigeria was big powerhouse in general because of him. It sucks that they're aren't enough videos of the crazy stuff he did at the years untill his prime because especially in Germany I can tell he added that spicy flavor in German fundamentaly strict football, and nothing is the same since then. Great reaction guys, for 1 of the most underappreciated footballers of all time

Free kicks isn’t easy at all. It’s actually given to the players that are best at it in the team and even at that it’s not always scored . Like the chances a free kick will go in the net is less than 30% but for a very good player let’s say 50% because the very special players always have that extra creativity and special talent.

Free kicks are difficult! You have to bend the ball in a way that it goes over the standing players but rotates towards the goal/net...away from the keeper. There is a lot of calculations happening quick. There are players who are free kick specialists like: Juninho Pernamucano (the best free kicker ever) Lionel Messi Cristiano Ronaldo Ronaldinho Rogerio Ceni (Goalkeeper)
@christopherhill9619
@christopherhill9619 2 жыл бұрын
Free kicks aren't easy , a penalty is more like a free throw as it's a direct shot on goal. With a free kick it is outside the box from wherever the foul was commited. The goalkeeper has a much higher chance of saving a free kick as it is further out and his players can stand infront, 5 yards away. They usually always form a wall, to block the shot. So they're usually positioned to one side by the keeper and the keeper watches one side, but if the taker hits it with dip and/or curl, they can go around or over the wall away from the keeper. Or decieve him in other ways, some player even gamble on the wall jumping and just pass it under the wall into the net, but these are all high technical skills.
