The first time you look at Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner, it reminds you of an Apple iPod with the single button in the middle. It lights up green when the water is hot enough and it’s ready for you to start cleaning!
This stylish little white cube steam cleaner came out in 2018 and within a month it was an Amazon bestselling steam cleaner.
Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner Review
Holds up to 54 ounces of water - almost 7 cups
Takes 7 minutes to heat up we recommend that you use distilled water to prolong the life of your steam cleaner but you can use tap water.
Maximum Temperature is 275 degrees F
Steam Pressure: up to 50 psi
Steam will disinfect and kill 99% of bacteria, viruses, and more with at least 3 minutes of sustained contact at a temperature between 175 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit. So on high touch surfaces that won't be damaged by this, you can use a steam cleaner to disinfect. However, we mostly use it to deep clean.
Accessories
The Dupray Neat comes with 18 accessories. You have and judging from other steam cleaners I’ve tested in this price range these are the highest quality brush attachments I’ve seen.
The Warranty
TEXT 2 year warranty on the internal machinery parts
LIFETIME warranty on the boiler
Any questions about the Dupray Neat steam machine? Please leave a comment and we'll try to answer every one. Thank you for watching and subscribing.
Dupray Neat Cost: About $150. We think it's the BEST steam cleaner under $200.
Storage and compact design.
Where can the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner be used?
Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner can be used for
- Floor Cleaning
- Cleaning grout although I found it tedious unless you put chemical on the grout first and then steam it
- Cleaning oil and grease stains from ovens stoves and kitchen Appliances
- Stains and spot removal from upholstery, carpets and couch. Although in my opinion there are better tools and I did melt the material on my couch because I let it get too hot.
- Disinfecting toilets (esp the bottom ring where pee can dry on and be really hard to get up), sinks counters, and bathroom floors.
- Sanitize pet houses and pet beds.
- Clean kitchen chairs and surfaces.
- Detailed cleaning and deodorizing of the car interior
- Kill bugs and bacteria on mattresses.
I’ve even used mine to steam iron sheets fast.
KILLS 99.9% of BACTERIA with superheated water. No need for chemicals so if you have sensitivities to chemicals or can't stand the smell or how it affects your skin, try steam cleaning!

Thanks for the great comparison! Bought the NEAT 2 weeks ago and fell in love with it right away! I’m 66 with heart issues and I could carry and roll Cube with ease! Even used on indoor outdoor carpet and spot cleaning on stair carpet to soften stains to be worked later. Left debris floor brushing pad left on both floor and carpeting so I could easily see what I was vacuuming up after surfaces dried! Great combo result of steaming away bacteria plus squeaky clean results everywhere!

I discovered a product called Ultra Guard; it is the designer's secret for protecting fabrics against stains. This is not your typical spray on that eventually wears off; this formula bonds with the fabric; once applied, it lasts for life, and even repels red wine. I had it sprayed on my white $1200 bathroom rug 10 years ago, and it still looks new. I even use it on my Chanel sneakers. Thank You for this video; I might have a new addiction, now. : )

It works ok on couches but it can burn/melt the material if you get too close. It depends on the fabric. Overall I'd say a carpet cleaner is better for that. Stream cleaners are best for solid surfaces like sinks, bathroom, kitchen (oven/stove/appliances), baseboards, heat registers, floors, etc. Thanks so much for watching and for this comment!

I haven't ever had an issue. The steam is hot right at the tip but hits the air and cools down. I guess it's possible if you tried to clean windows that were icy cold, it could crack the glass. The advice I have is to not hold the steam on any one place for a long time.

They started only selling the Neat on Amazon. It actually dropped in price, too. Please use this link (helps support our channel) amzn.to/3pEdAsR I like the Tosca but it's overkill for regular cleaning. I don't use it that often. Yes I mean I'd buy the Neat and not the Tosca. We don't really need both. I've never tested the Hill but I'm so curious about the injection feature. If you're doing heavy duty cleaning it would cut down on time to refill. But it's got to be heavier and larger, making it harder to carry. I keep mine in the basement, so I'm bringing it up stairs a lot. So it all depends on how long you plan to clean at once. For most jobs you don't need steam to last for hours. The first time, yes. I spent 6 hours cleaning. Had to refill several times. But now it's rarely more than an hour. Hope that helps, thanks for watching 😄

@@CleanFreakGermaphobe The Dupray Home is 4 years old, the warranty is 3 years, and the sad thing is, I used it maybe 15 times. I diagnosed the problem to be the solenoid that releases the steam. Anytime you pulled the trigger, it would trip the breaker. The part is $30! But Dupray won't, nor the company that makes the solenoid, sell just the part. So sad. The Desiderio is a fascinating machine. Streaming and vacuuming at the same time, seems like a great feature.

It goes yellow as you use it because it’s not at a steady temperature. When you use it the temp drops. Unless you see less steam and pressure it’s normal. I used another steam cleaner on cabinets in this video if you want to see kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iaqKi8ibqcW4mac.html After I did, the homeowner immediately bought a steam cleaner. She was so impressed with how great her kitchen and bathroom cabinets looked!

Where can I find the attachments for the Tosca? I just ordered the dupray and want tougher attachments lol
@CleanFreakGermaphobe
@CleanFreakGermaphobe 3 жыл бұрын
You can order them on Dupray's website. Aee you saying you ordered the Neat and want Tosca attachments? Just the brush attachments are interchangable. So none of the tools like the triangle tool, mop, etc. So you already have the parts that are the same on both.

I plan to mostly use it to clean my hard floors. Is the attachment for that long enough so that you aren't bending over the whole time? I'm only 5'3 but have seen that as a complain on other steam cleaners with multiple functions. I was initially looking a floor-specific steam mop like the shark or bissel but they have so many reviews of them breaking within a year. I would rather pay a bit more and have a more useful product!

Why do these steam machine never come with a gauge to let you know when water is done another thing why are they small in size and not loads bigger if bigger than you can hold loads more water in tank better bigger than just 1 size me thinks
@CleanFreakGermaphobe
@CleanFreakGermaphobe 3 жыл бұрын
A water indicator would be great. I asked them why they're wasn't one but I can't remember the answer. If they made them bigger they'd be too heavy to carry. There's a steel boiler inside and when you add water it gets pretty heavy.

I haven't because based on other steam cleaners we've tested, Also I'm afraid of them not fitting. One thing, you could try eBay. it's worth that much for Dupray brushes from what I can tell so far. I wish I could buy a 2 pack though.

@CleanFreakGermaphobe

Nope. Yes a microfiber can clean but it doesn't have pressure. A steam cleaner will get things much cleaner. And there are things like great registers that I've tried so many things on and a steam cleaner works when nothing else would. Also grout doesn't just wipe off.

Seems like these reviews always choose places and things unusably filthy so any steamer would produce results better then how it looked originally but what about normal households that don't have a bunch of filthy...how does the steamer work on everyday dirt not filth from abandoned or empty apartments.. That's the true test.

“The cord is five feet long, so you’re not going to have to plug in and plug it all over the house”. Huh??? With a five foot long cord...you WILL be inconvenienced to find outlets all day long. Extension cord is mandatory. The designers dropped the ball on this one, and should have included a long cord...20 feet will do most homes floors from an outlet in a central location.

Microfiber is a bad choice to use and will shorten the life cycle of the number of uses. The material that is used to make microfiber is not heat resistant and would recommend cloth as the material of choice to use. Same reason we don't dry microfiber on high heat or wash them is hot water as they are instructed.
