Do you take requests on this channel? I’d love to see more content on Blood Fresh Supply. A heavyweight of the build engine along Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem just much darker. Cheers mate!

I’m an idiot! I watched a few of your reviews after this and you reference Blood a ton 😆😂 Would still love some Kirk content on the classic as I feel it is still overlooked!! Also- definitely bought DUSK after this review. A1 🔥

Some advice for those who try DUSK, from someone who's played way too much of it: make sure Crouch Toggle is turned off. Makes sliding feel much more tactile.

Is "always run" on by default? That's basically a necessity

@@erebusreact0r I believe so, but it's good to keep the "walk" keybind in easy reach; there's a powerup that uses it.

@@your-local_npc Don't start the slide until after the enemy projectiles are in the air, they always aim for the head.

My favorite thing of this game is that they made L jump by default. I always make L jump in fps games so it feels really cool seeing devs acknowledge that bumper jumping is where its at, and for those that don't like bumper jumping you still get B as jump too. Love how well the controls were thought out.

I hope if Dusk does well on Switch they’ll port it to other consoles. Aside from the fact that I want to play it, I feel it’s important that old-school FPS games get as much exposure as possible.

I love how you can clearly see influences in the level design from old games like Quake, Blood, Undying, Hexen, Thief, Metroid Prime, System Shock... even the latest Prey game.

Beat this game over a year ago. Became one of my favorites, especially after part 3. You nailed all my thoughts. Game is a masterpiece, but HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THE SOAP! LOL

Does the auto-aim still have a slider? I want a portable version of Dusk but probably need as much auto-aim as possible because I suck at thumbsticks

My only gripe with Dusk on the switch is that the weapon wheel is dogwater. I find myself using the left and right D-pad instead.

The Hunting Rifle is not scopeless; it has the deepest zoom out of all the weapons.

Though I have Dusk on PC, I'd love to see it come to the Xbox Series X too. Along with Amid Evil and Gloomwood, whenever that one releases.

This game more than lives up to the hype and I had no idea a Switch port of Amid Evil is also on the way. That'll be another day-one buy if turns out well :-)

Is it worth- Yes. It sure as hell is worthy. I seriously hope that New Blood decides to port their other games to switch. Or that they even inspire many other companies to do it. Imagine if Blood releases on switch? I would faint if that happens. Lol.

Hmm, about Ultrakill for console, there are few mechanics that I think will be difficult with console (the coin for example)

I play Ultrakill exclusively with a controller, and I can tell you I pop off split shots with ease nowadays (even in P-1, on the current hard difficulty) These games can be played on consoles with controllers nowadays, so long as developers embrace new control schemes... Something Switch Dusk only partially does sadly. Though admittedly I have pretty high standards, Steam spoils me...

You should try out Nightdive's Quake port if you haven't already. It's super fun, especially the multiplayer.

1:20 ok that just felt out of touch I think Nintendo fans are the most suitable out of the console gamers to try out boomer shooters simply becouse they have a similar design philosophy as Nintendos best games
