This demo is so polished and gives so many possibilities, that it's pretty crazy. Both systems - fighting and stealth are pretty much great even at this stage.

This game was amazing I'll surely buy it on the first day , the level layouts was pretty good too . I feel they should add more very well hidden rooms and the melee and stealth should be improved as well . The immersive sim style is a genre I love dearly like Deus Ex and Prey .

I've played through the demo twice and loved it. They need to turn up the difficulty for the final game though.

It's easy because the enemies you fight in the demo are h equivalent of imps and soldiers that can't shoot.

Recently the Christmas update to the demo made enemies a bit smarter, made some cheese tactics less viable and added "Elite Variants" of regular foes in Hard difficulty.

I gotta say man, I started watching you probably around when you started, and you have some really professional quality videos. Everything from your thumbnails, channel profile art, writing, etc... its all really top-notch and its crazy to see that even though you've been posting for about a year now (give or take a little time), I'm impressed with every upload. I've been thinking about starting to post my own similar content, but you make it seem like you've been doing this for years and years. TL:DR - Your channel and content is fantastic, A+ stuff!

As soon as the demo for this was up I downloaded it right away. Love the art style, sound, and mechanics. Simple, but offering so many different options. This is 100% a day one purchase for me.

I agree with your video. I had some other complaints though like the parry system being implemented in a completely different and unnatural way compared to games like Sekiro. I also personally found the stealth not well implemented due to how bad the enemies detection and awareness is. Like if I get spotted and then go out of line of sight, they immediately lose me even if it's just me going into a vent right in front of them.

Nice man! The game is shaping up to be great - the noir art style and comic book look really add to the tone and feel. Reminds me of the Sin City movie. Look forward to the full release!

2:30 It probably helps that one of Batman's alternate Identities for infiltrating the Gotham mafia is Matches Malone, which is the same name as the main villain of the demo.

I think I read that they didn't add the ability to pick up bodies to the _demo_ but it will definitely be in the finished game. Same for saving. And normal consequences for death. The demo in general doesn't have a lot of features that will be there in the final game.

I'm sure they will in the full game but I think everything is going to be geared towards melee combat.

There was a boss guy at the end that had a gun, the shots aren't super hard to dodge though

There was a character in Batman the Animated, who looks very similar to the Nightshade here, but I can't remember his name. I remember, that according to the show this character inspired Bruce when he was a kid, and that this character was protagonist of some TV series in the world of BTAS. Also, "Matchstick" Meloun was one of gangsters Batmen met in the comic books, who left Gotham, died, and since his departure Bruce started to use his personality as his alias in "Batman: Close before Striking". Yep, Batman is my favorite character... And about the game. I will look out for it, but this death mechanic is almost drove me away from it... IDK, I just dont like that. It could be better if it was like in System Shock, where you need to find a local Vita Chamber, or just leave save system. And when you set off the explosion it drives every enemy on the location towards your place, which is pretty annoying.
