@lamelama22
@lamelama22 28 күн бұрын
@@cooperaustin6867 What he meant was by "bite the bullet" is that TK should've allowed Dustin to be part of Wrestlemania with Cody. Quite honestly, if WWE asked, TK would have been *a moron* for saying no, especially since he booked Dustin in a match with the AEW champion a few days later, and it might have helped to bring viewers to his show. WWE has reached out before for an AEW wrestler to make an appearance on WWE TV. Back in 2022 while HHH was temporarily in control, WWE had reached out to AEW to get Billy Gunn for the DX reunion, and were willing to pay $. TK doesn't care about money, so all he wanted was for the commentators to mention that Gunn worked for AEW; literally all he asked for was for them to *mention AEW*; and HHH refused. Apparently the WWE & AEW relationship soured starting then. Supposedly HHH is really bitter about NXT losing to AEW and then Vince returning & breaking up his version of NXT because it. Since HHH took over, he's been really strict about not mentioning AEW, not working with them, punishing wrestlers who talked to them, etc., and refusing to work with them or anyone from the independents. Vince apparently didn't care for 1 off appearances and special occurrences. re: Wrestlemania & Dustin/Goldust appearing: it's very likely that WWE didn't ask at all... they'd rather use their guys that are under contract, and their HOFers for big appearances, even if it made no sense storyline-wise. Another good example is that they didn't bring in Matt Cardona (fka Zack Ryder), Cody's IRL best friend, known to the WWE fans, doing the best work of his career, and who is available. Cardona is not under contract with anyone, and could've shown up for a 1-time fee (and would've), but they didn't ask; because he's not on their current roster. WWE is not necessarily wrong for doing that, you want to promote your guys, but the difference is Vince would want the *best product* out there, and would cut a deal if needed to make it happen. HHH & Nick Khan are apparently not.

Yes. If wrestlers like Brutus Beefcake, Bushwhackers and personalities like Trump and Sunny are in the WWE HOF.. then Dustin def deserves to be in there because he is a way better Wrestler than them and a way better promo cutter on the mic pertaining to the personalities of Sunny and Trump. Dustin is a lowkey solid technical wrestler and has had more legendary stories and feuds than some of the people that are in the HOF. I still cant believe Abdullah the Butcher is in the WWE HOF but not Dustin Rhodes/GoldDust/The Natural?

Love what Dustin is saying about people wanting to be told a story, and how that's a timeless concept. I just showed a friend the '96 Rumble last night. They had never seen a wrestling match before, but they loved the ride that they got taken on by performers working collaboratively towards a story from almost 3 decades ago. Wrestling really can be forever when the wrestlers know what they're doing.

People in WWE need to realise Dustin is one of the best all around talents ever in wrestling as a brilliant technical wrestling talent and one of the most unique promos ever and that is what wrestling is all about. When Taker says you are a HOF it should be automatic show Goldie the repect he deserves .

What an absolutely great guy Dustin is. One of the first wrestlers in the UK we actually got to see on TV late at night when WCW finally came on our screens in the mid 1990's.

Legend and hall of famer. I had always wanted to see him in WWE's main event scene back in the day, because he was so damn entertaining. The fact that he's still putting out amazing work is inspiring Most of all, so happy for him being sober for so long. Such a great example to so many people
