Just want to point out that Dustin placed 15th out of 87 in our age group, and 57th out of 406 overall (pros included) which is pretty dang good for a guy who made a very entertaining video while racing

In an age where UCI has moved into gravel and "roadification" has all but sterilized the scene, it's amazing to see that Grinduro is still a fun event where people can ride all sorts of bikes and dare I say it.... Have fun?

Geez at this point I'm obsessed, but I have to know: how the hell do you plan these videos out? Is there a script? Are you naturally gifted at extempore speech? Is there storyboarding? I am so curious because the stories you tell are cohesive, succinct and entertaining. If you posted a video on this feel free to link it I just couldn't find it haha. Thanks for any insight.

Judging by the quality of his on bike comments, he seems to be extremely gifted at extemporaneous speaking. The other parts of the video I’m guessing he storyboards and has talking points but probably doesn’t script it per se

Inspired by your 2017 video, I did 2018 Grinduro in Quincy with my buddy Johnny B. from PDX. It was just like this - sufferfest galore with bacon, whiskey, hot dogs, and even some pizza. Top that off with a swimming hole at the end and pickle juice/tequila shooters! Best travel for gravel experience ever. Thanks for capturing this years shananigans. Next year...

@@EverythingsBeenDone I get that, but the bands and DJs are still part the fun of the event IMO. And Grinduro get's some pretty top notch eclectic under the radar entertainment. Often better than actual music events. But again that's just my opinion.

This looks like a fun a gravel event and it's one that I would definitely join. Looks pure fun with that 95% party & 5% riding philosophy! For me the whole points of riding bike is to have fun outside and not tries to win a trophy at an event.
