Lainey you would not believe how many times I tried the dutch braid it was so frustrating and my arms would hurt and I would give up... but I would try and try again thanks to you and now I'm quite the pro I don't even have to look in a mirror anymore lol because yes I do appreciate what you repeat because practice makes perfect. And don't ever scrap videos you deem imperfect it's actually very helpful for beginners and intermediate learners to see mistakes happen just keep going! Love ya girl have a great day❤❤❤❤

Once you start, I can pick it up. Also, my hair is heavy, so the heavier the tighter you make it w/ out damaging, of course! So glad you didn't scrap this, thanks so much!!

I can totally understand it will absolutely feel as if you are repeating yourself as the steps need to be repeated however this is what makes me really understand what you are doing and an amazing part of all your videos. I have done this hairstyle before. I feel the best way to not get the bump is to take the section and braid in a backwards motion, instead of bringing it forward and braiding

Thank you for the video! Well done! Maybe you could explain to me why my double Dutch braids are never up close to my nape at the bottom.. if that makes sense. I hate when it doesn’t reach the very very bottom but ends too soon..

I kinda understand that your hair gets messy and frizzy. So does mine when I braid it. We are not perfect and not all of us have perfectly straight and silky hair. This makes it more realistic.

What do you do if you get an dry itchy scalp or hair that sheds?

Aveda specifically has a product for dry scalp. It's a purple bottle. It works great! Hair shedding is totally normal! If it's clumps of hair then that's not.

I like the steps repeated over and over… you could always tell ppl to fast forward to a certai. Time stamp if they don’t want to hear it but I need the repetitiveness
