Dutch pour for beginners, primary colors, acrylic pouring tutorial, pouring art, fluid art rainbow

Hi, in this video I’m trying to show my process creating a Dutch pour style with a simple color combo using a blow dryer that can give many different outcome possibilities depending on how the colors are layered. All the paints are mixed with 40-50% water . This art style is inspired by Rinske Douna and her Dutch pour technique. Colors used:
Amsterdam titanium white
Amsterdam primary blue
Amsterdam ago yellow deep
Winsor and Newton winsor blue
Pebeo iridescent gold
Amsterdam magenta
PS after posting this I did a mini version of the same but puddled differently with just pebeo blue green added and got a wildly different result. Reel is on my Instagram. I will try to do a bigger one here as the colors are gorgeous 😄
About me, I am a self taught fluid artist in Southern California. I am a breast cancer survivor and started watching fluidart/acrylic pouring videos during my year of treatment.
Pouring art was a form of therapy for me during my recovery. It quickly became a newfound passion and I try many different acrylic pouring techniques! I have been greatly inspired by Rinske Douna, Molly’s artistry, Fiona Acrylic and MelyD! So thankful for all their beautiful creations here on KZfaq.

Very nice! I love how you made the upper part look very fluid & flowing. Also love the small cluster of blue cells, they look perfect & more cells are not necessary. I think it lovely just how it turned out & it didn’t change much after it dried which is always great! 💕

This is the epitome of what my most favorite artwork I could imagine ❤ hanging on any of my walls. I'll take one, but make it 4'x8' in size! And here you were just playing around

Well I have some ideas if you are serious and want to sponsor me to try a larger version, you could have the painting in the end at cost with shipping... I think the shipping alone would probably be more than the cost of the painting 🤦‍♀️

@@michaelasartistry Hi again, I was doing a simple check on the web for large canvases, and I came across a vendor who's quote was over $1k...I'm not sure if it included shipping (should have, don't ya think?) but I'm now thinking the art should be between 80" to 84" in length, but to buy a canvas that wide, (80"), it comes in only 40" tall, and frankly I want it a little thinner, like 36", and of course at least 2" thick, maybe 3", so I suppose it will be a custom one-off fabrication. And now shipping...not sure, I'm in Simi Valley, a little south of you (just south of Ventura), not to mention some kind of protective cover. Anyway if it's still something you might want to try... This is really pretty even if it’s not what you had in mind! I’ve tried to get my colors not to mix into a muddy mess like what you got the first go through and it never works 😆 Another lovely Dutch pour but definitely try again if you’re not totally happy with it 😊👍

Hi, thank you. I actually don’t know what it is because it’s covered in paint. I’ve tried some other ones and they didn’t work because they were too powerful. I’m looking to find something else in case it breaks. Just make sure it’s not more than 1875 watts and has a low speed.
