Hi, in this video I’m giving some tips on how to have fun and create with leftover paints. Experimenting with colors and practice is how I learned the most in my Fluidart. I also wanted to show a realistic video and how you can use resin to create a flawless finished look and fix an uneven finish after varnishing. Colors used are:
Amsterdam Carmine red Deep expert series
Amsterdam indigo expert series
Amsterdam magenta
Pebeo iridescent gold
Base is a mix of many colors and titanium white.
I used winsor & Newton high gloss varnish and faux rizzle resin.
To see how I blew out the 6x6 please check out my reel on Instagram. @michaelas_artistry Because of the different format I can’t use the same video for both😰😂-but the colors are the exact same both pours were done at the same time with the same mixed paints.
Hope you enjoyed the video! 😄
About me, I am a self taught fluid artist in Southern California. I am a breast cancer survivor and started watching fluidart/acrylic pouring videos during my year of treatment.
Pouring art was a form of therapy for me during my recovery. It quickly became a newfound passion and I try many different acrylic pouring techniques! I have been greatly inspired by Rinske Douna, Molly’s artistry, Fiona Acrylic and MelyD! So thankful for all their beautiful creations here on KZfaq.
You can also see my art and it’s progression over the last year, check it out on Instagram.

I buy most of my paints through Blick but when I need to get supplies fast I do buy from Amazon.
