2stroke vehicles function differently and needs to be ridden in a certain way, you must be used to riding superbikes so it's okay, the way you handle the throttle makes alot of difference. Maxing out directly like how we ride 4stroke bikes is definitely killing the engine in some way. No hate or anything,just got concerned about it because they are all classics and their owners would have pampered and secured the motorcycle from a long time.. Yamaha RD350 it's a legendary bike ever manufactured in the Two-wheel Industry. Back in Early 1970's in US and Europe this bike could match any 650 and 750CC because of sheer acceleration and the best power to weight ratio... I am proud to say I owned my Dream Bike at the age of 19 and still owning it... Of course I am the first Rider in the entire world to finish Saddle Sore 1600kms in 24 hrs on my RD350 and then 2nd My friend who rode along with me on his RD350. Good going DV 👍
