This is the best band I have heard for years. The riffs are not from this world. The keyboard parts are awesome too. This music sends you to another world...I love it.

DVNE is beautiful. Unlike some of their genre counterparts (Mastodon,....), there are breaks that remind me of Tool when bass-led. Love the complexity, the heaviness, the enjoyable nature of this record. Listening leaves me feeling upbeat and positive. Thank you, DVNE.

Sounds even better than the studio version. Only thing I miss from the studio version is the flanger effect in the riff from 7:25 onwards.

I saw a playthrough with Victor where he said they tuned their guitars to G# G# D# F# A# D# on Towers. Pretty sure they use this tuning on most of the songs on the Etemen Ænka.

@@kevindisney4442 I didn't say don't use words 😂 Although there are some interesting band names, like Sunn o))) who have symbols in their name. Words are arbitrary, but using titles, like Dune, The Devil Wears Prada or Of Mice and Men, for example...it's just lazy.

@@metalbladerecords Let me see if I understand; they're using the name Dune......for a Dune-themed band? I'm surprised they were able to use the name without a lawsuit. And wtf is Dune-themed? Most themes are general ideas based on the lore of the era or some representation of a story, i.e. Viking metal, Wizard metal. Even Harry and the Potters didn't just straight up name themselves after the book series. Can I start a Lord of the Rings themed band and call it Lord of the Rings? Smh Fucking hell.
