Alright I messed up big... I forgot to switch to the HARDCORE MODE PROFILE BEFORE PLAYING in my last video. That is literally 3 hours wasted, and another 4+ hours having to redo it all over again not including time editing vids. Major L on my part but hey we're back on track and we made even bigger progress this time and got a Tier 3 workbench on Day 1. Let's gooo!

Money is still very important in hardcore. Especially for factory stuff, as you need to buy copper, gold and oil deposits now. The gold ones 400k on its own. Edit: Something that works well for making money is using dragon fruit, especially with the totems. They sell for 45 coins each. It works both with manual farming and using totems. Also, portals and teleporter pads work on hardcore, its just that you cant use them on OTHER PEOPLE'S island.

the problem are the trellis you need to use for drgon fruits, with one seed per trellis, thats a lot of birch wood

@@LongFingeredFinn I've had about 20 of them and made about 150k so far. I'm not saying its the best for it, its just quite good from my personal experience. And they're also a good food source for healing.

BIG TIP FOR STEEL: most people forgot but there is a blast furnace, u dont always need steel mills 😅

Yes, wich is why dv waisted another video to waist time & make 1 lousy steel mill. Take hours to produce much. When he could of made many, many blast furnaces ez! Make 1,000s of stell super fast!

@mastergamerghroblox7240 but you can make a big farm of like 20 blast furnaces. 20 × 50 (steel) = 1,000 steel every 2 to 3 min. I'd ratter get 1,000 steel every 3min, then a lousy 3 steel in 3 min from 1 stupid steel mill. so thats why DV screwed up major. he loosing it, he needs to step it up.

DV there’s a crop eater pesticide now. It requires some farming lvls and 20 amethyst. It’s annoying and doesn’t last that long, but protects your crops

Crops are good for things like food effects like dragon roll, yak's milk and other buffs. Heals is also important

Tips for the crop eater farm build a floating grass block and plow it and put a whatever crop you want, that way the crop eater won't reach the crop. Thanks me later

Hey dv you know to get steel easier, you can craft a blast furnace with bricks and iron. You can get the clay from the pond in the hub for the bricks.

Yeah, but basically only for beginners and hardcore players, since you can’t built afk steel farm out of that, which I’ve tried and may create like 32k of steel after I came back home from school😂, but if you’d have free time, then that’s the way to be rich though😊

Stat idea: When you level a skill like, heavy melee. You got like 10% damage reduction every 5 levels so it is a little bit easier for hardcore players to kill mobs. Btw great vids.

You need coins to buy copper and gold deposits from the miner. Buying those will help get you a tier 4 workbench

For crop eaters gust have a block floating in the air with wheat on it. The eaters will just spawn on the ground and never despawn

I would say a good end goal is tier 4 workbench. Atleast 10 of each of the industrial items that requires red bronze. Buying the egg sculpture from the blocks guy for 10m. And building a decent sized base/build

Money is important because you have to buy copper deeds, gold deeds, oil deeds, and stuff like totems for steel farms or grass for expanding your island

Before I even got level 7 I think people spawned Queen slime in hardcore for me and I got a crystal straight away and they kept spawning her 4 more times I think

money is good for when u need a lot of grass, seeds/trees, and probably other things I cant think of, but 100k is more than enough for hardcore.

If anybody is new then i hope this helps , I prefer killing the desert boss Bhaa because its a rare chance to get ruby from him but everyone time u kill him u will get gold and gold ingots can sell from 10k to 20k each so if u manage to get 1k gold then u can sell it for a good price which can make u rich

Under 50 wizard bosses in hardmode, I got a lightning scepter and in 2 trys of bhaa I got a fragment and a portal shard.
