Even the m113 kompressor engines have a very similar manifold with the tiny output to the downpipes. I don't know what Mercedes was thinking. Did you dyno the MKB headers before and after? Kleemann headers (which look almost identical to MKB) and high flow catalytic converters is worth around 20 HP.

Yep, every M113 is restricted from factory, when it comes to headers. No, i haven't made dyno run yet. After AMG camshafts i will do that. With the MKB headers and custom made exhaust, my car feels way better during acceleration.

Terrible exhaust manifolds. I made exhaust manifolds from a Porsche 928 32V. The engine performs perfectly, especially under full load from start. In 210 of 1997 Instead of the first catalytic converters, it had venturis that throttled the engine very strongly
