Its kind of inspiring how dwarfs counter a world of magic and monsters with engineering, maths, geometry and determination. It doesn't always work but its inspiring.

They do have runic magic, which helps power their technology and enables them to forge gromril. Being too stubborn and angry to die helps too.

5:45 "Come Snorri! Get in there you fight like an elgi!" Snorri is an Icelandic name(alot of dwarfs have icelandic or ancient norse sounding names) that means "onslaught" or "assault" but in Swedish snorre means penis. For some reason. I like how the dwarfs are the good faction if you like to be a viking.

lol no thunderers but the Irondrakes. THAT was sight to see. If it weren't for the Irondrakes this battle would have been over quickly. It looks like they actually got just as many fellow dwarves as beastmen lol.

My guess is that the next DLC will be Taurox vs Thorek, one wants to tear down civilization, the other it's the most accomplished runelord... Makes sense

If you play as Grombrinal, you start off with a unit of these. They easily rack up 400+ kills per battle in the early game.

Various races.^^ Everything Beastmen use is just looted stuff from the individual guys they mauled. The strongest among them get the best stuff, that's why Bestigors and Minotaurs have forged weapons, while Ungors have their pointy stick. :D

Chaos Dwarfs made some of the higher end weapons, beastmen will sell those without horns into slavery for weapons.

God I’ve read 3 of the gotrek and Felix books and this reminds me of when they and the king of Karaz-a-karak (Or Kazad dum I can’t member) fought a bloodthirster and hundreds of beastmen god it was my favorite scene

alright, so you set this battle up like: Beastmen: Gets Morghur, a few minotaurs/gorebulls, 2 giants, centaurs that don't cycle charge (might as well be chaff) and a shit ton of bad chaff consisting of ungor/gor/bestigors. Dwarfs: Gets literally all the best units in their roster, including Slayers, Irondrakes, several cannons, Runelords + Felix/Gotrek. this "battle" was over before it started tbh.
