The dwarves put up a lousy defense. Only Iron Breakers? No hammerers? No Gyro copters? Artillery? IRON DRAKES? Not even a second line of defense. They dishonor their ancestors.

This seemed like a heavily one sided battle, evidently sponsored by Skavens.

Remember Rome's "dig under the walls so they collapse" mechanic. Well, Skaven and Goblins would fit that strategy pretty well I think. Maybe the unit will charge into the settlement once the wall falls.

Siege engines seem counter-intuitive to a faction that relies on tunnels to travel and surprise.

15:33. HAHAHA, it’s so funny how there’s only one Clan Rat in this part running with all the Dwarfs and not killing them. And pretending to be one of them. You can see the Clan Rat put his sword and shield up in the air LOL!!! That part was funny. Look closely.

Siege battle was a cool idea! I'd like to see more. A sequel following the retreating dwarfs into the underway or a second, stronger keep underground would be cool. The shot following them as they fled towards the gate was great. Good battle, though also wish the dwarfs had a bit more. If it's Karak Kadrin, where are the slayers? Why are the quarrellers guarding the touchdown point on the wall and not the ironbreakers? A more even balance of power would be cool, though if you think its more thematic to have one side get brutally cut down for a battle you could maybe flavor the video as an ambush or last stand? Something that doesn't give away who will win, but inclines that one side has the advantage.

Now Queek Headtaker will finally have a bit of money to afford some Clan Skryre tech.

At night the dwarves hide in the temple. They can hear the hoarde feeding on the flesh of the fallen.

I feel like the dwarves’ losses are due in part to their own explosive friendly fire.

Now make second part of this siege - Grand controffensive by dwarfs from within the Hold! Let ungrim Come out with his slayers and kill as many skaven as they are able to!

Not a SINGLE siege tower destroyed with canons in the walls ? Really ? And the dwarven tactic consists in... waiting on the walls, and that's it ? No artillery ? Nos flying units to harass the ennemy while they are advancing ? This was made to make us look at a dwarven defeat. I prefer balanced battles...

The Skaven characters are so good. I might fire up some WH2 TW just to play em again.

I wish this became the standard for province capitol sieges. Almost like a boss fight, maybe a few layers to a siege as well instead of just one wall and one main objective point. A cut scene or small narration of the lore behind the city and who controls it.

However, instead of the Greenskins, they wound up meeting their match in the form of Clan Mors, led by their warlord Queek Headtaker, who's more than excited to claim some more dwarf heads for his trophy rack. In the end, the remaining dwarfs were forced to retreat back underground after suffering heavy casualties, leaving Karak Kadrin to be claimed by the Skaven.

Why not aim the artillery at those green orbs on the tops of the aeige engines? That wod be much more effective versus just shooting a metal door that does no damage.
