While he played for the Canadian Football League for a short time, he was ultimately cut from his team, the Calgary Stampeders, and sent packing. At 23, Dwayne found himself living in his parents' small apartment, battling depression.

I once met him in person and it was hard not to smile because his smile is infectious. He is so nice and down to earth. He is very kind, patient, and would most likely ( and I believe he has) give you the shirt off of his back Every time he smiled, I tried not to run and tell my coworkers are that he was right in front of me. I was star struck and that shit doesn't happen to me. His words speak to me deeply because I'm Bipolar and depression will literally kill you if you let it. I know this is a long comment,but people need to stop and think before they spew hateful words. It may be the last thing someone remembers before they end their own life. Remember Steve Cash, Chester from Linkin Park, the female news reporter that blew her brains out on live tv.Words can murder on or save one life. Think before you speak. I hope to see him again and have a meaningful conversation when I finally achieve my dream of becoming a therapist. This video makes me want to hit the gym even harder. I was already a fan when I met him,but that one interaction changed my perspective on who he really is as a person. For those that hate him, go fuck yourselves. Don't judge that book by his cover because if we meet and you trash talk him. I will verbally kick your ass!
