Speaking of Spongebob being a god, he technically is one in canon. When he pulled the golden spatula from the grease and beat King Neptune in a cooking contest, King Neptune turned Spongebob into a God so that he could be his personal fry cook in Atlantis. However, Spongebob didn't go and instead, showed King Neptune how to cook. As King Neptune never reverted Spongebob back to being a mortal, Spongebob is still a God and has his Godly powers. He either forgot about them, uses them without thinking, or just never uses it to their full potential.

@RooByrne if it was popeye vs SpongeBob then popeye would win cause he is smarter has more experience fighting 2 different versions of god and defeated them and Popeye’s star busting power surpasses SpongeBob explosion of the entire ocean on top of him yes SpongeBob is stronger and faster than popeye but if popeye found a way to out smart him then SpongeBob should be no problem cause remember SpongeBob’s greatest weakness is that he is a dumbass

I'm guessing the reason why you're mentioning Aang, Korra, and Danny Phantom is because they are all Nick characters. Well, they are supposed to be warriors. Sponge Bob is written to be a silly cartoon character. Never pick a fight with silly cartoons, they have Toon Force, and they can do anything as long as it's funny.

TBF it's the same result EVERYTIME they put a character that functions on Zany Toon Logic against a character that gives even the tiniest deference to reality. Even Superman would have lost to SpongeBob, or PopEye or The Mask.

@@RequiemPoete Toon Force users can lose. They're not invincible. Also, those three having Toon Force was not the _sole_ reason they won against their respective foes. They also took stats and none of their foes could put them down long enough to win.

that would be so crazy and nonsensical, i'd say it would end in a draw. death battle have done that before (deadpool vs pinkie pie), and two godlike toon force users with insane survivability probably just wouldn't be able to kill each other.

When this Death Battle came out I researched what other matchups SpongeBob had maybe funny ones but a serious Death Battle of SpongeBob that I see many people make posts of or community debates about is SpongeBob vs Popeye due to their extreme and overall unbeatable feats. 90 % of people say Popeye wins due to his feats. It would be funny If Death Battle does SpongeBob vs Popeye. Also it's great to see that you two are reacting to Death Battles again. Cool video. ^_^

A millennial born in the early 90s, I was 8yo by the year 2000, and became obsessed with Spongy ever since I first saw the very first pilot episode, and learned what a "SpongeBob SquarePants" is. I'm an OG fan of the OG SpongyB baby! Meaning if it's anything between Seasons 1-3, then I'll likely remember the full episode almost instantly. 😎👍 However, if it's anything from Season 4 or after _(after the classic show turned into a sh*t show),_ then we don't talk about it. 🤐🙊🙅♂️ Only the OG Classic Sponge for me. There is another thing that they forgot to add, it’s that sponge bob was married to Sandy though it was by accident, it was a special episode were Sponge revealed that he got marry to Sandy because of a play they were doing and apparently the priest that was supposed to be an actor turns out to be a real one that got lost and wonder into the stage so technically they did got marry 😑

You know, if Super Friends Aquaman is capable of using the entirety of earth's ocean in an attack (idk if he can actually do it or if it was just for dramatic affect in the battle), that means Aquaman can punch with a force similar to that of Spongebob's exploding ocean durability feat
