love your rabbits. I had one for many yrs but it died from old age. Everybody was after me to give them the rabbit but we buried it when there was no one around. I didn't want them to eat it. Your lettuce are amazing. Great work. The next step on how to make onion plants

Perhaps you would change the water as to allow the plant to gain more minerals etc? I don't know as much as you but it's what I think. I like your videos and enjoyed the one about sunflower seeds

Ya, it is amazing how much and fast they grow after they get like 4inch tall.

Oh yea it is I'm gonna leave the water in this go around with my spinach and see how that goes a lot of people change there water every 2 weeks and I just don't see the need to what do you think. ?

Looks great! I want to try that myself, I seen that exact container at Wal-Marts...might just try it. I love how the Bunny stopped eating when you said you grew it Hydroponically...almost like he didn't trust it but then went back to eating lol. What nutrients do you use for your setup?

Lol yea that was funny. I use two nutrients flora grow & flora micro. Seems to work just fine

This batch of lettuce did really well Jay. Do you have a heat pad that you start your seeds on? If so how long till they germinated? Rick

Yea I have a heat pad that I start my seeds and the lettuce seeds comes up in about 3 days. I couldn't believe it was that fast

My buttercrunch lettuce is growing with long narrow leaves. They don't look like yours. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

you didnt change out the water?? water that sits loses oxygen and the minerals thats in tap water and so algae probably came from the excess nutrients you put in and if you changed the water itd not stagnate and make algae. even the stones wont bring back the lost oxygen

Yea I would change the water if my reservoir was smaller, thats a lot of water to change out every 2 weeks lol

could do like a little at a time. i know my fish will act weird if i dont change at least a little water after a while and i have a 55gal tank with 4goldfish

+Carena722 If you are using the kratky method which is really similar to dwc they don't change the water at all, at least for lettuce
