People don’t realize how close the country and norteño culture are. Banda music and country music has so much in common, and even our cultures. My family is from a small Pueblo in central Mexico in the state of Zacatecas, we have ranchers, cowboys and cowgirls, we love our cattle and horses, cowboy hats and boots, rodeos etc... I always like to find out similarities rather than differences

Funny how she fucking loves me to death and calls me for advise lol. in my 46 yrs on this planet I have learned a few for sure things. People hate the truth, people hate people who are willing to tell them the truth regardless of feelings. The government is a business and we are their slaves. Most believe what they are told if they are told it enough (general media) and if the few with common sense and integrity do not shut down the liberals they will win and destroy the planet trying to "save it".

Dwight Yoakam!!!! One of my all time favourite artists. I’ve only been to 2 concerts in my life and it was him both times. The beer and his music go so good together!!!! Wooo

For many years I have driven to Bakersfield to spend holidays with Kin. It’s a place where I and everyone can be our self. Those I am with wear overalls! I’ve been to the Crystal Palace from outside. One day I’ll make it inside!

You can tell how much Dwight really appreciated Buck

The studios and radio stations put Buck out to pasture. Dwight said oh hell no, and pulled him right back into the corral where everyone could see and hear him. And THAT is what you do when you idolize someone. Buck still had a lot to contribute... but the move to pop crap was being made in country music. Dwight fought that tooth and nail (and tight pants). And, if you still listen to country stations... country is now rap and hip hop and pop and EVERYTHING BUT country.
I was in the audience that night...free beer and fun times!

Shucks! Surely miss Mr. Buck Owens the California Cowboy. Great performance. I felt Dwight's pain (still do) at the loss of Mr. Buck Owens. He was his hero. God needed him more. But thanks to KZfaq we can; relive, laugh and love classic moments like this one over and over again. Rest in peace Buck and Roy. Now, how about a Hee Haw SALUTE! from Glory for us?
