Wow, they are really selling this one hard! Everyone is getting a review copy. And I'm glad you're one of them as this is a stand-out video. This toy deserves to be successful. I'm getting this guy just for the little facemaster bot that comes with him. Any idea if the blast effects can peg into the circular holes in the PALMS of his open hands?

One burning question I have is if those effects parts are 5mm compatible, because if so, that is one heck of a cherry on top for this package.

TheBd62 oh yea i can totally get that. I think the 80s cartoon that holds up the best is like the first 2 or so seasons of the real ghostbusters. You know before slimer took over.

TheBd62 At least anime had some fluid animation moments despite their equally stupidly complicated character desgins that weren't made for animation. Though plotwise TF was even shitter then standard 80's cartoons. 20's-40's and 90's- early 2000's had the best cartoons.

This guy hits the mark so much more than the smaller Bike Robo does.I recently picked up DX9's Cocomone to try and fill the Crasher shaped hole in my heart and shelf, and it's... ok. Worth the $30ish I paid for it, but if these guys do a proper Porche Robo in the same style, with the same kind of GoBot throwbacks(Mmm... translucent plastic stomp effect parts) I'll be all over it in a heartbeat.

Questions for you, Vangelus. What precisely is shock oil, and where does one obtain it? A Google search turns up a lot of talk about oil for shock absorbers. Is this the same thing?

The old Super Gobot Leader-1 was already pretty great. Crasher, on the other hand, only got a tiny little toy in the original run.

I think it's because the alternate freebie faces are a separate thing. It's like "hey, have this bike robo. also, there's this bag of random plastic shapes that come with it. oh, no, his face falls off."

He's pricey, but they made a smart (if flawed) design even smarter and almost flawless. (I didn't like the partsforming, but it did get rid of the handle bars). I'm down with him, but if they end up giving him back his axe say as a pack in with someone else, I'll be like super down with him.

aliasangelalias Kinda both, as Action Toys has the Machine Robo license but not the GoBots license, so it's both an officially licensed Bike Robo toy and a 3rd Party Cy-Kill toy.

Unfortunately Porsche Robo's colors are wayy different than Crasher (All gray vs all black). So they'd need a repaint too

Just if there's any legal issues with using Crasher's colors. Bike Robo and CyKill have the same colors, but these are Machine Robo toys and the Crasher colors were never used. It could still happen I don't pretend to know how they do business, but it's an opinion.
