So far, the keys are the only real problem. As for the jingles, not sure about you, but the one that started at around the 5:00 mark definitely gave me some Ryuusoul Changer vibes. I half expected some instrumental sounds for "YOU SO COOL!!" to finish up the morph...at least, I hope that winds up being the morph...it'd sure as hell be better than what they did with the Beast-X Morpher.

at least dino charge and megaforce had the best gimmick in the power rangers toy line in recent years only cause they took the fun part about the sentai gimmick and just made them smaller

I think that key is like a demo key, because the actually red ranger key comes with the figure. It's kind of like what they did with the Beast-X Morpher, when we got a 3-in-1 demo key, and the actual keys were released with the figures

@@txmqalfpdiq That is fair. The color does look better, the art work is amazing on the sticker, and voices in the past have been bad in the past. Granted I’d love for them to give a voice like the Zero one driver a shot where they just do announcements and not try to copy the voice of the Rangers, but your point still stands. And it is possible for this to turn out cool, so I’m not writing it off just yet, but there had at least be some keys that do different things that the included one.

It's very odd how they just made the keys stickers. The fact that they were originally little mini figures would be a cool selling point and they could've totally sold them separately as it's own little line, maybe add in some Legend Keys too. Idk.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say this is the demo key. Remember the demo keys from the Beast X morpher? I think we will get the keys from figures.

Possibly, however the us key looked like there was no pattern, as in a teeth code.......I hope thats due to it being a demo key, and not that there's no reader

I actually made a video demoing all the hiddeb sounds on the morpher. The keys have three bits that correspond to three matching switches in the morpher. This means that there is only a total of seven unlockable sounds (six if you dont count the sounds unlocked with the key that comes with the morpher). It's actually quite a step down from the previous Hasbro morphers, which had 5 bits on each key.

Solid review! It’s good to see someone else mess around with this thing and also not having any clear idea on what the “morph” is supposed to be! I felt like I was going insane lol. It’s incredibly vague in the instructions and the sounds don’t help.

if going forward we keep getting these gimmick-focused morphers, then we need to get the more structured "gimmick insertion > standby > activation" morphs. this whole like "it makes weird sounds and motion activated noises and then putting in the gimmick item changes the morph sometimes and changes the motion activated sounds also" type thing from this and the beast morpher kind of suck. i get that they think kids dont really care and they want to make it more "open" for play, but i can guarantee any kid would want to morph along with the rangers instead of having a rock riff followed by a bunch of wooshing sounds.

Funny, I did the morph at the same time as the show. The sound is the entire morphing sequence. And stops when they do the the roll call. Which i actually find pretty good attention to detail.

@@CTP0544 yea but their is slightly changes on the morpher 1: the dino head is crimson instead of a bright red 2: the keys are obviously different 3: the visor spinning looks unsatisfying 4: the strap again a foam strap why couldn't they use the same strap as the ryusoul changer did

I LOVE how there’s no annoying voice or voice command and I really like the jingles it makes. I think kids will really like this, but I don’t like how there’s really no real incentive so far to wanna collect the keys. Like whats the point if there’s no clear direction for them in things like the morpher.

Reminds me of what bandai did with the RPM engine cells when they turned it flat & put a sticker on the front, I think Hasbro is doing this because beast morphers probably didn’t sell too well

We don't get it until later in the year. We were lucky enough to get it a few months earlier for Beast Morphers but that's still 3 months after the US.

When you first showed the key, I thought they were doing a kinda key-card thing, but as soon as you turned it over and showed the dino head jutting out the back of it, it made it look so ugly. I feel if the entire key was a flat object, it would end up working out way better.

Yeah I like the key sticker but the back really isn't great. I don't like the straight line, not the actual key flip. But this is the American version I will give Hasbro credit, so far the morphers are actually a normal size. So hopefully this new season will be good. Do you watch Batinthesun? They did a super power beat down last night with Godzilla vs Dragonzord.

I've never liked keys for Morphers. The Ranger loses the key and they can't Morph. A villain just needs to steal the key and destroy it, like drop it in an active volcano. I prefer a single complete Morpher, like Time Force.

To be fair Super Sentai ussually rotates toy heavy series. One of the more recent has it so they only transform with watches but America ussually adapts the more toy based ones.

The morpher itself looks pretty good and I like what sounds are there. No obvious morph sound is a shame, unless it's the second set of motion activated sounds and you're supposed to do some kind of morphing dance like Kyoryuger. The keys being cheap garbage is what kills the Dino Fury morpher for me. Super Megaforce's keys were scaled down but they retained the flipping function. Ninja Steel's stars were a major downgrade but at least they had texture. I hate that these keys are completely flat on the 'front' side and that Hasbro hasn't hinted at proper keys being available at some point. There are also fewer possible sounds in the DF morpher so don't count on all the keys in the show getting a physical release. Now, about that gold ranger morpher. Oh yeah, Hasbro's making another blaster morpher. My expectations are through the floor.

Hmm...i think the transform gimick gonna be like this...you press the red button first...insert the key....Rotate the silver plate...and then do punches just like gekiranger does....becuz...in the instruction sheet...the speaker icon when you do punches sensor it goes red

I'm already hating Hasbro's version, including the keys because they don't flip. The reason why Bandai's version flip is because theirs transform from a head a certain prehistoric animal to a knight, making Hasbro's version having a certain prehistoric animal's head pointless.

I dig the morpher and the keys are fine to me. I'm not going to lie but I am actually impressed of how many sounds it has for it being only $20. From what I've seen that they are going to take advantage of the the different heads so I am looking forward to that. Overall I do like it and will definitely pick it up.

Do Ryusouls fit in the DF Morpher tho?

so there are pins and stuff inside so we'll probably get actuall morph sounds from the keys that come with the rangers or zords

add the megazords heads/keys to your morpher they have different sounds when you turn to morph swing it around

Just let you know dude the Dino Fury Morpher Brand is Hasbro and the Ryusoul Changer Brand is Bandai that’s all i know

I dig the design and sounds but definitely disappointed in the keys. We'll see how they work in the show

More to the point why they teasing Max Ryusoul Red already as that's whats clearly printed on the key, also the actual morphing keys are with the 5 inch figures :/
