@@nickfire4005 I'm really not in any rush to paint mine. There's just not a lot of interest for videos like that on our channel, and I have so many personal projects as is. Yes, I can certainly do something very fancy with that. We could even make our own morpher entirely, and have it be more screen accurate, with a removable Cosmic Orb. But 2% of subscribers clicking on any given video isn't funding the channel in a way that allows us to spend that kind of time making things. Have you seen our ZEO Chamber? That and the Dark Dimension are currently up for sale. If those eventually get more support we can do some more cool things.

I saw someone posted in one of the ranger groups on FB, they weren't really a fan of the morpher, but their kid was wearing it, and their kid loved it. That's really what matters here. This is so much fancier than what took over the world in 1993. We have the Lightning Collection line, and as much as fans complain, there is no other competing line. There is not another line in this history of the universe that has this many teams, this much articulation, this show accuracy, civilian heads, etc. It is the best ever in a variety of ways, despite the unfortunate QC issues. It will take the discontinuation of the line for fans to realize, unfortunately. 6 years ago or so, I said to people, "You'll miss Bandai." I was laughed at. Now I see that constantly. People miss all of the great stuff Bandai put out. But at the time, every release was causing fans severe rage and other negative emotions. If Hasbro is trying to kill Power Rangers, it's through lack of promotion and show presence, not the toys.

@@MMPRtoys I'm certainly in the minority on this, but I like the look of the morpher. Even then, I do agree it could use a bit of work. A bit of paint and it'll look great. A shiny gold, or maybe copper or brass, silver, and then some panel lining or a black wash and it'll look amazing.

We did already get that from Japan though, so here is something different. The Kyuranger toys are very affordable now. Even more so than back in 2017, and even more affordable than Hasbro's. I think anyone who prefers the Japanese toys should just buy the Japanese toys. I don't believe the US audience would have collected 300 Kyutamas. I just don't don't think that's where fans are at right now. If that was Hasbro's thinking, I do agree with that. People aren't buying much of anything these days, just complaining. I think it was very smart to bring Billy back, since I've seen so many comments saying "Now that Billy's there I'll watch the show." Not a lot of support for much of anything these days. I'm not saying this is the best morpher we've had, for sure, but probably good enough for where people are at right now, if that makes sense.

@@Osindileyo1 I've been more than fair. If you watch our videos there's been no gentle. I've gone over all of the things that weren't right, from QC issues, to prices, to things that could have been better w/o altering the price, etc. But the fandom has also become almost unbearably negative, about everything. Last week I went five days in a row w/o reading a single positive comment on this channel. We get a LOT of comments, as I'm sure you an imagine. I got sucked into toy reviews by viewer requests, but the original vision for the channel is what we've presented for so many years, which was essentially mini fan films, in the spirit of the show, bringing the toys to life and reminding people why they love the show and collect the toys. The goal here was fun videos (and the hope the comments reflect the fun we were trying to bring) At this point I'm wondering why so many people are even still here, seemingly everything makes them disappointed at best, and in some cases, very angry. Fans need to learn the difference between realistic criticism and feedback that could make the company make improvements, vs them saying, "screw this, we're not going to please people no matter what we do, nobody's buying anything, this is what we're able to offer, goodbye." This is a toy line for a silly show that was originally aimed at 4 year olds. And in this case, we're not talking about ZAP or LC stuff. Having said all this, would I have done things differently if I designed this morpher? Sure. I think at this point in my Power Ranger watching and toy collecting life, I'm at the the "pick your battles" stage. If everything is negative, is it worth it now? For me, that's the morpher they made. There it is. It's a take it or leave it deal. Or take it and enhance/modify it on your own deal. There's no point in dwelling. Everything *could* be better. This is what we got. I have not been so impressed with the toys so far for Cosmic Fury, but the show footage looks great. I'm going to enjoy the good things. I'm in the various FB groups. All of the adults hate the morpher, and the ones with kids say their kids love it. That's the goal here. If the kids are enjoying it for what it is, the Hasbro did their job. Honestly, it does a lot more than the morphers we loved so much when we were kids.

I'm not sure I'd call the show's logo "tacky." If it's on the prop then it's legit. It used to drive me nuts when they'd put power bolt stickers on the toy in place of the actual design, but that's thankfully not the case here.

@@flumper5571 Everyone still knows I'm a Power Rangers expert, right? That's what this channel is. Kat morphed one time as the SPD Kat Ranger. Fans can certainly interpret what color she was. Orange is a fair color to give her, but the suit had a lot of white too. In Jungle Fury the white ranger also had orange trim throughout the suit and helmet. The ZEO Gold Ranger had as much black on the suit as gold. SPD also had an orange ranger, Boom. It was a dream, but still a suit we saw in SPD. But, as far as an orange suit goes, Cosmic Fury will be our first orange ranger that's part of the team and referred to as orange, outside of a dream.

I guess kids must really like that? I'd be willing to bet most adult fans would rather it didn't talk. Or at least had a mode w/o the voices. I can say from reading my comments though, yeah, some adult fans really want the actor voices in there, but personally, I just want cool lights/sounds. I can hear the actors on the show. I think the voices take away from it. Well, if I were a kid playing with the morpher, I'd be imagining I was the Power Ranger, transforming, not wanting to hear the ranger voices from TV. I really don't know how many people I actually speak for these days.

@@MMPRtoys I think if PR ever did the memorial edition route, the voices would be great for it. But yeah, it's very much a thing where you need the right time & place, the first morpher of the main toyline isn't it.

@@arkanamaster4961 Don't they usually have modes though? Like it's optional? That's really what I want. A switch for actor voices, and a switch for just lights/sounds. For me, having the voices is great for an animation video. But if I were a kid pretending to morph, I'd want to be the one saying it's morphin time, and have the morpher just have cool lights/sounds.

​@@MMPRtoys i think it's to get the feel of the character in the scenes when you have it on mute, it's similar to a pr video game when you press the button they punch and hear the grut accept with morpher it just provides the voice. i look at the morpher like it's a big game controller when it comes to functionality, if you know what i mean.

I'm waiting to see it. I really like the "no filler" thing. I've heard a lot of good things about the season. I don't mind the suits. The Kyuranger Zords do seem weird, and I'm currently watching Kyuranger, wondering how exactly they're using the Zords... we'll see. I hope it's good!

We've barely seen anything of the season yet. It's easy to say potential was wasted when we only have some still images and not a single second of footage. I'd say save judgement at least until there's a proper trailer.

@K_Zimm I don't feel I have to wait to properly say it's wasted potential. They chose to go with the lame original suits instead of the amazing Kyuranger suits so that is safe to call wasted potential. And given that it's only 10 episodes there is a ton of Sentai footage they can't possibly use so that's wasted potential there as well.

@@ComicCrossing Also to be fair, everyone says this every year. People say it every time a season gets skipped. I remember the same comments when it seemed like Go-Busters was being skipped. Honestly, nobody cared about Beast Morphers. Kyuranger both had some beautiful suits, and some weird ones. Power Rangers has shown us looks don't matter. RPM had those goofy looking anime car Zords and was a "dark/serious" fan favorite season. Gokaiger was the most unreasonably epic thing ever made, and look at what Super Megaforce did to it. Well, thumbs up for having a pirate theme with suits, weapons, and Zords, w/o ever acknowledging pirates, I guess. That's an accomplishment! Everyone hated the ToQger suits but that was such a beautiful season. It's entirely about what they do with it. And maybe it'll be awful. But Dino Charge was a number of steps in the right direction, and it sounds like they had more freedom with Cosmic Fury. Currently I have no reason to doubt it. I also don't give these things much thought. I know I'm a Power Ranger fan, and this is a season of Power Rangers. Whenever it finally airs, I'm just going to watch it. Once I've seen it, then I'll know what I thought about it.

@@symphonixbladesI just think the orbs look goofy. Kept me from getting into Kyuranger, though the henshin device was another factor, I thought it looked to bulky for a wrist mounted device. I think the Cosmic Fury one looks kinda dumb, too, but I think it looks better than Kyuranger's. It's really the lightning bolt on the side (if it was facing the other direction it'd look a bit better), but the toy doesn't have that anyway.

There's nothing wrong with the video, gotta separate our work from the toys featured. Sounds like you don't like the morpher.

This is one of the few cases where I think something really could use instructions. Sure people could play with it and find things on their own, but many people probably won't find all of the things. It at least does say it reacts to the TV on the box, I certainly wouldn't have thought of that on my own. But on the box is shows the Dino Fury morph sequence, which I can't get mine to react to, and haven't had any luck with MMPR, but I did get Once & Always. I'm on the Amazon listing, no video! Seems like they could have at least done an instructional video for that listing. They've done some cool things for sure, but still needs something... at least better instructions!

Regarding MMPR, frustratingly that's all anybody supports. We struggle with that as a KZfaq channel, and it frustrated the hell out of Bandai and Saban too. And now Hasbro follows. Fans buy Tommy, Jason, MMPR Megazord, and then sales immediately decline, as does interest. I couldn't believe how many comments were asking who Rocky and Kat were when Once & Always was getting ready to premiere. All anyone watches or remembers is the first seasons of Mighty Morphin, and I'm not sure how many of those people even finished that season. At least on this channel, it's really hard to even show Titanus. Fans either really don't like that, or don't know what it is. It's gotta be Megazord. And sure there are fans for every seasons, but just not in the numbers people think. I didn't even realize for a while, b/c we used to reach more people outside of the fandom on KZfaq who liked our fun videos, but weren't necessarily in the fandom.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Ranger Station one, it does seem unique, but sometimes that isn't a good thing

We have videos (from back then) with those. I think it was red, yellow, and pink that came out? They had all six when I filmed at Bandai, they were meant to come out, but I'm not totally sure what happened. Seems like they would have all come out at once, even with Hasbro, but yes, there were things that never came out b/c of that. They were also having issues with things not selling and shelf warming. (I have all six, but that's b/c I customized white, blue, and gold)

I was initially impressed with their colored instructions for Beast Morphers... this doesn't tell you anything!
