Join me for a day ! A plant mechanic in the north of the England, servicing and repairing mainly Develon & Mecalac construction equipment on building sites, quarries and forestry. In this episode I’ll be changing plans to go into the lakes a 235 has lost a lot of oil !

I found an oil leak on spool block of my Massey last week. It was a plug that was slack. I nipped it up then thought that Ali would check the o ring. Sure enough it was in poor condition, so I replaced it and all good. Thanks for giving good advice!😀

I’ll not use them to hold a pipe down that’s for sure but you never know when you might need a cap head

I knew it wouldn’t put up much of a fight there’s no tread lock on them and don’t usually suffer from rust

Good work getting that bolt out, im surprised how easy it came out, i thought it would be tighter than that, is there not a torque spec for them or do you do it by feel and give it a nip of the wrist?

There’s no locktite on the threads and it’s the tension on the bolt that keeps it if that makes sense so I knew it should come out without to much of a fight

Yes that makes sense. I wish the bolts I worked on were that easy to remove!

Hi I'm on a dx140-7, 1 year old. Tracking yesterday and I heard a hissing in the cab then the seat completely collapsed to the floor and won't go up again. Any ideas ? Thanks

I’d imagine an air pipe has popped out I did have an air bad pop either way it’ll be a warranty job 👍

@@alisdiggerdiary looks like it's the air bag looks like it's popped could see inside it. Would inflate but won't hold air. It's over 1 year old would that be out of warranty? Thanks

@bencarruk depends if it get extra warranty I don’t think the air bag is expensive and easily replaced once the seat is out I did one in a video a while back
