Pro tip from a hairstylist if anyone is ever wondering- any box dye unnatural color (pink, red, blue, green, etc) will never actually be permanent. The lift to the hair that may occur, will be permanent but the color itself, no. Unnatural pigments like that are not meant to be permanent. Also, if you have previous color on your hair, these generally will not work unless the hair is either 1, light enough for the color to take, 2 it catches onto a very porous part of the hair though it will most likely turn out a mucky blue, or 3 it catches onto your grown out, virgin regrowth. But other than that, if you don't have a full head of natural hair, I would never suggest using a boxed unnatural color (or any box for that matter but I won't get into that because I know not everyone can go pay $200 at a salon to color their hair) Though I can always suggest if you want a high lift- something that lifts and colors at the same time, Sally's does carry some high lift products. Just make absolute 100% sure it's going all over virgin hair like in the other case and that you do not start at your roots- personal experience- not a pretty look!

I’ve been using manic panic for 10 years and it is the bomb! Definitely the best one to use if you don’t want to pre lighten your hair. I usually sleep with it in my hair once it’s applied and only have to dye it once a month.

It looks sooo good! This was my go-to colour for two years! I did after midnight on the top and ultraviolet on the bottom. I used to let it hang out in my hair for hours before washing it out. I wish I could go back to blue!

I used to dye my hair bright orange with manic panic - keep that towel! Every time you wash your hair the dye will seep out even when you're out of the shower and it's just damp! Looks great tho 💙✳️

1. i love the colour!! It suits you so well! 2. if you don't want hair dye staining your ears/hairline, put coconut oil or Vaseline on your ears and hairline! It helps so much!

With dyes like manic panic and arctic fox only wash your hair with cold water other wise it'll wash out super quick. Arctic fox stains but not anywhere as bad as manic panic. I've used both and definitely prefer af

I think the blue suits you. My daughter is a hairdresser and said that the first color probably had a developer which lifted your roots. She assumes that’s why the manic panic brought your roots to the bright color. She said manic panic is basically like a hair masque. So yeah, the blue gives you an more edgy look. Love you!
