There are ways to make it last a long time and pretty much look the same :) i refresh my hair color every time I wash it and it looks gorgeous for months

That is your opinion. Stella likes to dye her hair and it's none of anyones business. Everyone tells me I look amazing as a blonde but I absolutely hate it.
