If the band dies in some tragic accident we should demand an autopsy to make sure they're actually humans. Their playing, live and in the studio, has been too tight to be real. \m/ Can't wait for the new album!

I was in 2 different bands with Rob Belton (first DF drummer) and John came down to jam and hang out with us in late 2000 IIRC. We played Four Horseman and some other stuff at my house. Rob Belton is one of the best percussionists I've ever played with. He and I just clicked. It's very rare that you find someone you just gel with out of the gate.

It was like 20 years ago when I was driving from Alaska to Maine through Milwaukee. There was a metal fest happening that I had no idea about so I crashed it for two days, sleeping in my car. There were growling Opeth and emerging Amon Amarth and then these guys. My jaw dropped and my mop was spinning! Going back through discographies of my favorite bands, this is an amazing jewel in the metal universe!

This album to me is the peak of Dying Fetus. It's the concentrated of essence of violence in an audio form. The band is the apex predator in the death metal scene. There intensify and ferocity is unmatched, but copied so often. Fuck, what a band!

Excellent album. Becoming a Dying Fetus fan myself. I'm really picky for my death metal but I find their sound quite approachable, rich and intelligent. A very well balanced and interesting metal band, no doubt

17 years ago I found Six Feet Under and Cannibal Corpse. Except Arch Enemy not much can come close. I was a little hesitant when hearing my first Dying Fetus song but they are solid as fuck.

@@clementdefontenay5774 it's alright but original better I had compilation cd with one shot one kill on it and it was raw as fuck guitar wise riffs really came out I would put in on my Sega Saturn to where vocals couldn't really hear and it just be blaring the guitar my neighbor's loved it 😂😂😂 Think it was on a contaminated cd. Now the 1st version of Vengeance Unleashed was on another Contaminated Cd I like that one better .

Haven’t listened to their new stuff, the latest probably War of Attrition. Then they started headlining deathcore shows which was a big surprise to me; you would think they would move more in the circle of hardcore, or tech death bands instead. Never understood why they did that.
