I remember playing this when it was released and nearly having a stroke with the first Volatile encounter. Running around in the pitch dark in a blind panic, lol. Good memories.

i just did the mission where i threw the vaccines into the fire and it forced me to run back to the base at night and holy shit the rush i got running away from those big ass scary zombies was insane.

I love how he explains that we need to get the grappling Hook as soon as possible and you get the enough points around 10 hours into the game xD

You can grab underwater plants for making medkits as well so if you run low whilst playing the main story you can just farm them (basically really easy to get in large pools of water on the map with relatively no risk of death except for drowning lol)

Dying light is one of the best zombie games and is criminally underrated the parkour was so smooth and combat was great as well. Thanks for reminding me dude haha gonna buy this game again soon.

If you never played this game, buy it. Its definitely an S tier game, I’ve spent about 300 hours in the game for how great it is. Great guide by the way!

Several things that I want to add (based on my experience): 1. Prioritize to get Grapple from Survivor Tree Skill, this is very useful when you are surrounded (especially againts Viral) 2. If you already have Stomp and you want to save your weapon durability, aim for the zombie legs (sometimes don't work againts Viral) 3. USE KICK, A LOT! Seriously. 4. Don't ever use Grenade/Bomb, unless you want to open Viral banquet 5. USE THE ENVIRONMENT, combine it with tips no. 1 Bonus: I suggest you buy Harran Ranger DLC to get Ranger Bow, this is a very powerful ranged weapon and also silent. 1 shot to the head can kill Goon instantly, and once you reach Legend you can also kill Demolisher with 1 shot.

I was having a hard time at first because I was trying to barrel through the main quest. But now I'm gonna take my time and do some side missions.

The night time is hard but day time bruh, it is easier than smashing potatoes

I just downloaded the game and can’t wait to get into it! I wasn’t able to pick up any DLC which is a bummer, but I still have hours of game to explore!

I think the last tip isn't the greatest, yes once you've gotten a grip on the game you could handle nightmare difficulty but if you're just jumping in for the first time on a new character you might want to stick to hard or normal.

I just started this game this month and so far i am having fun, its a bit challenging but i already learned alot from dead island. what i do is i do bunch of side quest so i can level up pretty quick before doing main quest.

I started playing dying light yesterday and I can't believe that I am enjoying dying light even though I was just doing side quests. Dying light is something that I ignored a long long time now but it was on sale on steam and now I am enjoying it for the first time.

even after all this time, techland STILL updates it. we may not have dying light 2 yet, but we have the next best thing. some of the story missions can be kinda annoying, but it's still a great game overall.

I havnt been scared playing a game in a long time. I just started playing this game, and one mission dumped me right in the middle of the night, and my first run back home...im getting goosebumps right now just hearing the screams in my head all over again... volitiles are no joke when ur not ready for them. I had no idea how dangerous night was, and i started being very weary about night time despite its great xp advantage

kick zombies into spikes, jump kicking and spending some time on that makes your agility points go up fast. Do that untill you get a bit more mobile. Game is much more fun when the parkour is better. Grapling hook can save high falls, by using it on the ground

If I could suggest anything it would be to avoid doing the quests too quickly and get to know the game, controls, menus, local area, how to parkour effectively, build up your skill tree, gather as much loot as possible, get the best weapons, BEFORE you let the sun set and have to deal with the Volatiles for the first time.

if you buy the game with all the DLC like I did, play Hellraid and the combat xp shares with the campaign so I leveled to lvl 10 combat in just like an hour or 2

Thanks for the video; I made the mistake of rushing through Story missions without exploring much or completing side ones, and found myself grinding a lot. Actually, in the first 10% of the game, you should never take on more than a zombie at a time, because your weapons are such crap and it takes all your energy and focus to slay just one. Now I also wish I nailed the grappling hook sooner. But Nightmare mode? Really? I find it hard and exhilarating enough on normal!

And we need add some things up to Nightmare mode: 1. If you use medkit you gonna regen HP slowly, not instant. 2. "Wirals" gonna attack you no matter what and if you make any noise you gonna have nice party following you. 3. Those night guy's aren't showing on mini map (and Wirals too) 4. Legend level are 10x faster to get, but if you die you lost all. 5. Chase are last thing what you want in night. They gonna be deadly fighting them. Kinda those things what i observe i my game plays. Ah another thing. Some of developer items can't be used. And that all for tips for Nightmare mode for beginners. I think i might something missed.

In the mission “airdrop” the first airdrop that is surrounded by Rais’ men, the men aren’t actually invincible! They can be killed with the gun you can get early on (if it decides to give you ammo, but even if you don’t get any ammo, there’s another location in the map with three German pistols and a shit ton of ammo), or molotoves! The airdrop has pistol ammo and grenades in it.

I recently got dying light anniversary edition for my birthday and I'm starting off pretty good but this is my first zombie apocalypse game i have ever played on console(Ps4) so I'm really inexperienced in terms of combat i have played other zombie games on roblox(on phone) but there different compared to console but atleast these tips will help i kinda get a little bit crazy when i fight zombies but the zombies are different than roblox zombies

I like your guide. I remember the IGN demo announcing the release of the title and thought to myself I never seen anything that moves so seamless and dynamic in an FPS. The time came and had the title in my hands and for some reason didn't play it as I imagined. The character was slow, fatigued quickly, the zombie pricks were hard to put down and thought this would be the pace throughout the whole game. How much I was mistaking. Gradually I upped the character and saw a considerable difference in movement. Now, I do consider myself a veteran of the Slums. I even found hunting grounds of volatiles in the slums. To the north of the slums where the semi circle bridge is. With water under. The perfect place to bitch slap volatiles. But for the bitch slapping to occur, one needs fully legendary skill of the fire arms. Night vision boosters, flares, and led. That's how you become a nightmare for nightmare volatiles.
