Dylan Moran has a very unique intellect, and it's difficult for non professional comedians around him to be funny, as they may be used to being when someone like Moran is not around, but I feel like if you compare this to interviews like his appearance on Jonathan Ross, it's obvious Moran is happy to be there and is enjoying himself. I get the impression that he likes Australia and Australians, and has a lot of time for them. Whenever you're interviewing a comedian, it's probably best not to try to compete with them in anyway, regardless of how popular you think you are, or how many laughs you get from your own material. I think these guys did alright.
@WateryFire
@WateryFire 3 жыл бұрын
pjsmoulder I think with age he’s just learned to be patient and understanding with those who are not on the same wavelength as him. He’s still annoyed by these dimwits, especially the one right next to him, but chooses kindness now. He can’t make them smarter anyway, why bother.

Well some of us just aren't as intelligent as the spaceship people. I was thinking that the other day, about life. How business owners should be happy for irresponsible spenders, like myself, they get rich from us. Plus, if we were ALL super intelligent then who would work the low paying jobs? I think diversity is a wonderful thing. That is why I could never understand how some people could say they dumb themselves down to talk to others. That is an extremely arrogant thing to say. But just like worlds of people think druggies should die, because they are sinners. i have recently found out that there are also worlds of people who think like you. A guy once told me this: "I have to dumb myself down to be with the bottom feeders, but God will forgive me." That is a sad way to think, but who am I? I'm just a dumb hillbilly, with camel toes, who's grammar sucks, and I don't deserve my kids, nor compassion or forgiveness. Thank God you, nor him, are my own personal Jesus, because that kind of attitude is definitely not the Jesus I read about in the bible.

Amen, I was just thinking that this morning. I either want to breath easy, and live longer, or keep smoking and have a hard time walking down the road. It's hard to quit, and stay quit, when you have so much anxiety and stressors in your life. During my studies of the mental illnesses that I was diagnosed with, I guess it is a scientific fact that people with schizophrenia usually do smoke themselves to death. That is really sad too. So now I have to try and stop, again, and learn to stay away from triggers and people who trigger me.
