Thank you for a great tutorial! Instead of selecting all the windows manually you could also insert a "Familiy Types" node to retrieve the actual familiy type, and then get the parameter from that node and then set it to Revit. But there are many ways to do it. It's, just to find what works best for you. Keep up the good work Balkan! :)

Surely you can do this without Dynamo by using the filter to select the windows and inputting the head height in the options bar? Maybe this is an old version of Revit that didn't have this capability?

Thank you for your excellent videos on Revit... one small request about dynamo. can you please make video about the nodes, their types and their uses. I know, the list is very big, but at least make a video on some of the important nodes, like everything basic about nodes, so that a beginner will have a idea about the nodes. thanks in advance

That’s so useful however I am doing a similar work now on a facade but I can’t find that component “set parameter by name “ anywhere . Is that component name been changed? Or is there any work around ? I can’t find help on that matter anywhere yet and it would be great if you have a solution .thanks

Why should you use Dynamo for this when you can just change the parameter directly in Revit? Is it for future understanding? Is it possible to make if-statements in this workflow? Like if I want to set Head height to 2000 mm if the windows height is more than 1000 mm and set the head height to 1500 mm if the height is less than 1000m?

If statements can be done using a package called Zebra. The power of Dynamo is ideally to build scripts flexible enough to be used on many projects to save time and reduce error chance
