We hope this can help you :) The power handling number is an estimate of how much power the speaker can handle before it breaks, given a very specific scenario - and it depends highly on the material, and over how much time. It is not a measure of how much power you need to or should have. The sensitivity rating is much more useful for that, but still, it depends on the room, and your individual expectations. In reality, it is quite simple: If you do not hear clipping distortion from your amplifier when listening, then you have enough power. If something sounds distorted, turn the music down :) Regarding damping factor: This is a somewhat overestimated measure. Any “good” amplifier will have a damping factor that is “good enough” to not be an issue, while a high damping factor does not in itself guarantee that the amplifier is good. In other words, you can’t judge an amplifier simply from the numbers. You should do some real-world listening, and base your purchase on your own ears! Generally high quality audio is not quite that simple, unfortunately… The best answer is that the result will be different, but it’s not necessarily clear which one is the best option. That will depend on how it is being used, and which parts of the performance you focus on. An Emit 50 will be able to play louder with lower distortion, and reach lower frequencies. On the other hand, a simpler crossover and a narrower cabinet profile has advantages in terms of imaging. So, the answer is that yes, it is possible, but it depends on your priorities. The “quality” of audio reproduction is not a linear scale. We would always recommend that you try to get the opportunity to listen to both at a local dealer, and make the decision based on your own listening :) We hope this helps. Hello! thanks for your question :) For logistical reasons Evoke has been manufactured in both Denmark and China, so you will find both on the market. Regardless of the place of final assembly, all parts and assembly methods are 100% identical. For instance, both versions have all drivers hand-built in our factory in Skanderborg, Denmark 🇩🇰
